Intex launched the Aqua Wonder Quadcore, successor of the Aqua Wonder today. Two new phones Aqua Glow and the Aqua Active are listed on the official Intex website. The Intex Aqua Glow has a 4.0-inch (480 x 800 Pixels) capacitive touch screen display and the Aqua Active has a 3.5-inch (480 x 320 pixels) capacitive touch screen display Both these phones are powered by a 1 GHz Spreadtrum SC6820 processor and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). Intex Aqua Wonder Quad Core

Intex has launched the Aqua Wonder Quadcore, successor of the Aqua Wonder that was launched earlier this year. It was first spotted online last week and packs a 4.5-inch (960 x 540 pixels) Capacitive touch screen IPS display, powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It packs a 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera with dual LED flash and a 2 MP front-facing camera. It comes with several pre-loaded apps including Flipkart, Facebook, Nimbuzz and more. Airtel has launched 2 new International Roaming Packs for post-paid mobile customers in India travelling to Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Australia, Germany, UAE and UK. This offers up to 2 hours of free incoming calls and outgoing calls for as low as Rs. 40/minute. Airtel launched US International Roaming Voice packs for post-paid customers last year that offers up to 87% discount on voice calls and up to 5 hours of free incoming calls. Looks like Micromax is on a roll. The Micromax Funbook Talk P360 and the Micromax Funbook Talk P362 tablets went on sale online last week, now a new 7-inch Funbook tablet, the Funbook 3G P560 is on sale from online retailer Saholic. Most of the features are similar to the Micromax Funbook 3G P600 that went on sale back in February. It has a 7-inch capacitive touch screen display and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), but this one is powered by a 1 GHz single-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM7227A processor, instead of 1 GHz dual-core Snapdragon MSM8225A processor in the P600. It’s been less than a month since the Micromax A51 Blot was spotted on the official Micromax website. It is finally on sale from online retailers Saholic and Snapdeal. It has a 3.5-inch (320 x 480 pixels) display, powered by a 832 MHz Broadcom processor and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS. It packs a 2 MP rear camera and a 0.3 MP front-facing camera similar to the A35. Micromax launched the A35 Bolt, the company’s first Android smartphone in the Bolt series back in February. Nokia Lumia 720 up for pre-order on Flipkart for Rs. 18999

Nokia launched the Lumia 720 in India last month along with the Lumia 520. The Lumia 520 went on sale earlier this month. Online retailer Flipkart has put up the Lumia 720 for pre-order at a price tag of Rs. 18,999. It was listed on Flipkart for Rs. 18,499 on Friday, but Flipkart changed the price of the device to Rs. 18,999 yesterday. Lava has announced the Jelly Bean update for their Android smartphone, the Iris 501 (also known as Iris N501). It was launched earlier this year for Rs. 9,999, now the phone is available for Rs. 7,999. The Iris 501 runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), and company launched the Iris 502 recently for Rs. 8,499 that runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) out of the box, which is now available for Rs. 7,499. HTC One Benchmarks

HTC launched the HTC One, the company’s latest flagship Android smartphone in India earlier this week. We brought you the unboxing of the device last month. Here we have the benchmarks of the device. The HTC One has a 4.7 inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display, powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor clocked at 1.7 GHz with Adreno 320 GPU and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It out performs all the current quad-core smartphones in all the benchmarks.

Nokia Lumia 720 gets listed on Flipkart at Rs. 18999

Nokia launched the Lumia 720 in India last month along with the Lumia 520. The Lumia 520 went on sale from retail stores last week. Now, online retailer Flipkart has listed the Lumia 720 on their website for ~~Rs. 18,500~~ Rs. 18,999. The Lumia 720 was unveiled at the MWC 2013 last month along with the Lumia 520. It has a 4.3-inch (800 x 480 pixels) ClearBlack display, powered by a 1 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8227 processor and runs on the latest Windows Phone 8 OS. It has a 6.7-megapixel auto focus camera at the back with LED Flash, Carl Zeiss optics and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. Micromax Funbook Talk P360 went on sale online earlier this week for Rs. 7,049. Now the Micromax Funbook Talk P362 is up for sale from online reatiler Saholic in India. Even though it has a 7-inch (480 x 800 pixels) capacitive touch screen display and voice calling support through the SIM card slot, similar to the P360, it has a slightly better single-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). Other features are similar including a 2-megapixel rear camera, VGA front-facing camera, 1 GB RAM and a 3000 mAh battery. Airtel can continue 3G Intra-circle roaming, but cannot add new 3G customers in 7 circles, says SC

Supreme Court has ordered Bharti Airtel not to extend its 3G Intra-circle roaming services to new customers in the 7 circles, where it did not have licences for 3G spectrum, according to a report from The Economic Times. Airtel got a temporary relief earlier this week, when Supreme Court allowed them to continue their 3G intra-circle roaming till April 11th. Last month DoT had asked Bharti Airtel to stop 3G services in 7 circles and asked them to pay Rs. 350 crore (Rs. 50 crore per circle) for illegal roaming pact with Vodafone and Idea . Delhi High Court temporarily stalled the execution of DoT’s order until the final hearing, after Airtel appealed against it. Celkon launched the A119 Signature HD last month for Rs. 13,499. We brought you unboxing of the Celkon A119 earlier this week, here we have the benchmarks of the device. The Celkon A119 packs a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display at 295 PPI, powered by a dual-core MediaTek MT6577 processor clocked at 1 GHz with PowerVR SGX 531 GPU and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). We reviewed the Xolo A1000 recently which has a similar processor and a HD display. Let’s see how the device performs in the benchmark tests.
