It has a 4.63-inch (854 ×480 pixels) FWVGA capacitive touch sceen display, powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It has a 8-megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash and a 0.3MP (VGA) front-facing camera. It also comes with dual SIM support with dual standby. iBall Slide 6309i with 7-inch display, Android 4.1 launched for Rs. 5199

iBall has launched Slide 6309i, a new tablet in the Slide series. It has a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.2 GHz processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It has a 2MP rear camera and a VGA front-facing camera. iBall launched the Edu-Slide i1017 with a 10.1-inch HD IPS display last month. The HCL ME Y3 and the Byond Mi-book Mi7 has similar features, but both these tablets run on Android 4.0 and come with 3G support and voice calling features.

Vodafone launches one-time trial packs for 2G and 3G customers, starts at Rs. 25

Vodafone India has launched one-time trial packs for its 2G and 3G subscribers. Vodafone has also launched its popular advertisement characters Zoozoos in a fresh avatar for this IPL to increase the level of awareness and emphasise on the benefits of using internet on the mobile. Micromax Funbook Talk P360 with 7-inch display, Voice calling now available for Rs. 7049

Micromax launched the Funbook Talk (P350), a 7-inch tablet with voice calling support last year. Now, the successor, Funbook Talk P360 is now available from online retailer Saholic. Even though this has a similar display and a processor, the new Funbook P360 has a 2-megapixel rear camera, 1GB RAM and a 3000 mAh battery. Micromax Funbook P600 with 3G voice calling and 1 GHz dual-core processor went on sale back in February. HTC One X and One X+ get a price cut, now available for Rs. 25999 and Rs. 28999

HTC has cut the price of the One X and the One X+ in India, which are now available for Rs. 25999 and Rs. 28999 respectively. This is a huge price drop for both these smartphones since the launch, and this might due to the launch of the HTC One, the company’s latest flagship. The HTC One X was launched in India at Rs. 37,899 (MOP) last April and the HTC One X+ was launched last November for Rs 40,190. No details about the price cut for the HTC Butterfly, that was launched in India earlier this year at a price tag of Rs. 45,990. Micromax A72 Canvas Viva with 5-inch display, 1 GHz processor now available for Rs. 6999

Micromax A72 Canvas Viva that surfaced online yesterday, is now available from online retailer Snapdeal. It has a 5-inch (480 x 800 Pixels) capacitive touch screen display, 1 GHz single-core processor and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). It ccomes with 2G (EDGE) support, has a 3-megapixel camera and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. Micromax had already launched the Canvas A100 and it’s successor A110 Canvas 2 A110 last year with a 5-inch display. The A116 Canvas HD is the company’s latest flagship that was launched earlier this year.

Micromax A72 Canvas Viva with 5-inch display, 1 GHz processor coming soon

Micromax is all set to launch the A72 Canvas Viva, dual SIM Android smartphone with a 5-inch display. It has been spotted on Flipkart. Even though this has a large 5-inch (480 x 800 Pixels) capacitive touch screen display, it has a 1 GHz single-core processor, runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and comes with 2G (EDGE) support. It has a 3MP camera without flash and a 0.3 MP front-facing camera. This would be a budget version of the Micromax A100 and it’s successor Micromax A110, that were launched last year.

Airtel, Vodafone and Idea can continue 3G Intra-circle roaming till April 11, says SC

Airtel has got a temporary relief, and can continue their 3G intra-circle roaming till April 11th. A Supreme Court bench has asked telecoms department not to take any action on the Bharti Airtel on 3G roaming pact till Thursday, according to a report from The Economic Times. Last month DoT had asked Bharti Airtel to stop 3G services in 7 circles and asked them to pay Rs. 350 crore (Rs. 50 crore per circle) for illegal roaming pact. Delhi High Court temporarily stalled the execution of DoT’s order until the final hearing, after Airtel appealed against it. HTC One launched in India for Rs. 42,900, available April end

HTC has launched the HTC One, the company’s latest flagship Android smartphone in India. It was announced back in February and packs a 4.7 inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display, powered by a 1.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) with the new HTC Sense UI and HTC BlinkFeed. It has an UltraPixel camera on the back with LED Flash and a 2.1MP HD front-facing camera with 88 wide angle lens with HDR capability. It has a Metal Unibody Design, comes with Beats audio support, HTC Sense TV app with program guide and remote control, Dual frontal stereo speakers with built-in amplifiers and dual microphones. Intex Aqua Wonder Quad Core coming soon

Intex launched the Aqua Wonder, a dual SIM smartphone with a dual-core processor couple of months back. Now Intex is all set to launch the Aqua Wonder Quad Core with a quad-core processor, which is listed on Flipkart as coming soon. Other features would remain the same including a 4.5-inch (960 x 540 pixels) Capacitive touch screen IPS display, Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean), 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera with dual LED flash. It would have a 2MP front-facing ccamera instead of 1.3 MP front-facing camera in the Aqua Wonder. This would compete with the Xolo Q800 that was launched last month. LG Optimus L3 II Dual and Optimus L7 II Dual officially launched in India

LG has officially launched the LG Optimus L3 II Dual (E435) and the Optimus L7 II Dual (P715), dual SIM Android smartphones in India. Both these were priced on the official LG India website last weeks, and went on sale online few days back. LG unveiled theOptimus L Series II devices at the MWC 2013 in February. These phones use the LG L Style design that has Seamless Layout with minimalistic contours and graceful edges, Laser Cut Contour for elite craftsmanship with elite laser-etched details and Radiant Rear Design with pebble-like accents. Micromax A115 Canvas 3D images leak

Micromax unveiled the A116 Canvas HD, the company’s latest flagship back in January. It was originally priced at Rs. 13990, but they increased the price of the device to Rs. 14,499 few weeks back. We even saw the phone in a new packing, and a matt finish rather than the glossy finish. According to some alleged shots from a Twitter user MMXNewscaster, Micromax is working on the A115 Canvas 3D, which is in the final stage of development. Samsung Galaxy Y Plus and Galaxy Young now available in India for Rs. 6290 and Rs. 8290

The Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus went on sale in India for Rs. 22,900 couple of weeks back, now Samsung’s new budget phones, the Galaxy Y Plus and the Galaxy Young are on sale in India from online retailers Snapdeal and Flipkart. The Samsung Galaxy Y Plus (GT-S5303) surfaced on Samsung India’s website last month. It has a 2.8-inch QVGA (240 x 320 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 850 MHz processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). The Samsung Galaxy Young (GT-S6312) was announced back in February, and we also brought you hands-on images of the device from the MWC 2013. It has a 3.27-inch ( 480 × 320 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1 GHz processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean).
