Remember Samsung Galaxy Beam Projector Smartphone? If you don’t, no problem. Today we have iBall Andi 4a Projector smartphone that comes with a very unique feature of having a projector on it. Just like the other phones in the Andi series, the Andi 4a runs on Android and it features mid-range specifications. It has a 4.0-inch (480×800 pixels) display, powered by 1 GHz Dual-Core Cortex A9 Processor, runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and a 8MP rear camera. It has 35 lumens projector that allows users to project instantly up to 10 feet by 8 feet  in VGA (480 x 640 pixels) resolution. The projector has a contrast ratio of 1200:1. HTC has officially launched the Desire 500, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in the Desire series. It went on sale in India online earlier this week and packs a 4.3-inch  (480 × 800 pixels) display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor and runs on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) with Sense 5.  It has a 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED Flash and BSI sensor and a 1.6-megapixel front-facing camera with BSI sensor. Vodafone plans to increase its stake in the Indian unit


Vodafone in planning to buy out minority shareholders in its Indian arm for about US$2 billion, according to a recent report from the Financial Times. Vodafone owns about 64% of Vodafone India. Piramal Healthcare run by Billionaire industrialist Ajay Piramal has 11% stake and the remaining 25% stake is controlled by undisclosed minority shareholders. Celkon has launched Campus A15, a new smartphone in the Campus series. The company launched the Campus A10 recently with 3G support. The Campus A15 has an entry-level smartphone with 2G support, which is also the cheapest smartphone from Celkon. It has a 3.5-inch (480 x 320 pixels) capacitive touch screen display and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) similar to the Campus A10. It is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor and has dual SIM support with dual standby. It comes pre-loaded with Interactive games and Zapya sharing app that lets you shake to trasfer data. Sony Xperia Z1 Benchmarks

Sony launched the Xperia Z1, their latest flagship Android phone with a 5-inch 1080p display and a Snapdragon 800 processor in India recently. We brought you the unboxing of the device recently. Here we have the benchmarks of the device. The device is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 800 (MSM8974) 28nm HPm quad-core Krait 400 CPU clocked at 2.2 GHz and Adreno 330 GPU. As you can see on the image above CPU-Z says that it is clocked at 2.15 GHz. The Xperia Z Ultra was also powered by the same chip. Let’s find out how it compares with other high-end devices in various synthetic benchmark tests.

Videocon Telecom plans to bid for 900 MHz specturm for Delhi in 2014 auction

Videocon Telecom, the telecommunication arm of the Videocon group has announced that they have planned to participate in the upcoming spectrum Auction and bid for the 900 MHz license for Delhi. The company rolled their services in 3 out of 6 circles they acquired in November 2012 auction, after it lost its license in 21 circles after high court order. The company has improved its network presence in the four operating circles including Punjab and  plans to roll out the services in remaining 3 circles within the next 12 months. Google Nexus 5 complete specifications revealed in leaked service manual

Specifications of the Google Nexus 5 were detailed in the leaked log file recently. Now the official sketch, images and the entire specifications have been revealed in a leaked internal service manual. The phone has a model number LG-D821 and would sport a 4.95-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) full HD IPS display, powered by a 2.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and run on Android 4.4 (Kit Kat). It is expected to come with a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera.
