Micromax launched the Canvas Turbo Mini A200 with quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor earlier this year, now the press image of the Micromax A190 has been leaked by @MMXNewscaster along with the specifications. The smartphone is expected to be powered by a 1.5 GHz hexa-core MediaTek MT6591 processor. Karbonn was the first company to launch its Titanium Hexa with this processor and the Xolo Play 6X-1000 that was unveiled last week is also powered by the same MT6591 processor.

Spice Retail just launched the Spice Smart Pulse M-9010, the company’s first smartwatch with built-in Dual SIM support for phone functionality. It has a 1.5-inch touch screen display that would let you easily read and write SMS and also browse web. It can also be paired with Android smartphones to receive notifications, receive calls, view call logs, read and write SMS, remote camera capture and music streaming. Spice would also offer an Android APK for Android smartphones for Bluetooth notification. Xiaomi Mi3 to launch at just Rs. 14,999 in India, goes on sale July 15th

Xiaomi is known to be a success story in its native country ie China and we expected to see competitive pricing for its products here in India too. Color us surprised to see how low a price point Xiaomi has been able to hit with its Mi3. To launch at Rs. 14,999 the phone brings top of the line specifications.

Flipkart Digiflip Pro XT 712 Benchmarks

Flipkart launched its first tablet Digiflip Pro XT 712 under its own brand last month. We brought you the unboxing of the tablet last week, here we have the benchmarks of the tablet. Unlike most other tablets powered by a MT6582 processor, this one has a MediaTek MT8382 SoC with 500 MHz Mali 400-MP2 GPU. It has a 7-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) multi touch IPS display. It packs 1GB RAM and runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) OS. Check out the synthetic benchmark scores below.

Amazon launched its New Kindle Paperwhite earlier this year priced at Rs. 10,999. It is now available for Rs. 8,999 on Amazon in India for a limited period. The 2nd generation Paperwhite was announced back in September 2013 and has a the same 6-inch (1024 x 768 pixels) display at 212 PPI pixel density with built-in light. It has a new display technology with higher contrast, the next generation built-in light, 25% faster processor and new touch technology with 19% tighter touch grid so that it respond even more accurately to the smallest touches.
