Mi 11X series worth Rs. 300 Crore sold within 45 days of India launch says Xiaomi

Mi India has announced that the Mi 11X that was launched back in April in the country has crossed gross sale worth over Rs. 300 crores since the phones went on sale at the end of April. Earlier this year, the company announced that it sold Rs. 400 crore worth Mi 10i 5G phones were sold in 45 days of launch. Mi 11 Lite with 6.55-inch FHD+ 90Hz AMOLED display, 6.8mm sleek design launching in India on June 22

Xiaomi just confirmed the launch of Mi 11 Lite, a new smartphone in the Mi 11 series in India on June 22nd after several teasers. At just 6.8mm thickness and 157g weight, this is the slimmest and lightest smartphone in 2021, says the company in a teaser image that shows the side profile of the phone along with “Lite & Loaded” tag. Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition 40-inch FHD TV with bezel-less screen launched in India for Rs. 23999

Xiaomi just launched its new Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition 40″ in India as it had promised. It has a 40-inch Full HD screen with immersive Horizon display with minimal bezels and 93.7% screen to body ratio. It features Vivid Picture Engine (VPE), a set of software and hardware tweaks that ensures accurate screen calibration, deeper contrasts and perfect colour reproduction. Redmi AirDots 3 Pro could launch in select markets as POCO Pop Buds / Redmi Buds 3 Pro

Xiaomi under its Redmi brand introduced the Redmi AirDots 3 Pro in China last week. Now the headset has been certified by Bluetooth SIG with the model number TWSEJ01ZM. There are also two other products Redmi Buds 3 Pro and POCO Pop Buds with the same model numbers, so the AirDots 3 Pro could launch outside China under these names. Xiaomi shows off 200W fast charging that charges 0-100% in 8 minutes and 120W wireless charging

After introducing 100W fast charging technology in 2019 and 120W fast charging in Mi 10 Ultra last year, Xiaomi today introduced 200W HyperCharge fast charging technology which is currently the highest ever in a smartphone.  The company also posted a video that shows a phone with a 4000mAh battery that takes just 44 seconds for 10% charge, 50% in just 3 minutes and 100% charge takes just 8 minutes.

Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G could launch in India as POCO X3 GT

Xiaomi under its Redmi brand introduced the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G in China a few days back. The company did not reveal any details about the global roll-out of the phone yet. A finding by Mi tipster @kacskrz has revealed POCO X3 GT name, so this could be the same Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G for other markets such as India, Turkey, Indonesia and more. Xiaomi reports record revenue and profit, 163.8% increase in profit in Q1 2021

Xiaomi has reported its earning for the first quarter (Q1 2020) of 2021 that ended March 31, 2021. It reported revenue of 76.9 billion yuan (US$ 12.03 billion), an increase of 54.7% compared to Q1 2020.  Adjusted net profit (Non-IFRS Measure) was 6.1 billion yuan, an increase of 163.8% year-over-year. The company said that both the revenue and adjusted net profit reached record highs in the quarter. Revenue from overseas markets increased 50.6% year-over-year to 37.4 billion yuan. RedmiBook Pro 15 with 3.2k 90Hz display and RedmiBook Pro 14 with 2.5k display, Ryzen 5000 series processors announced

Along with the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G series, Xiaomi also introduced new RedmiBook Pro 15 and Pro 14 laptops with the latest AMD Ryzen 5000 series processor in China, as it had promised after the Intel version was introduced back in February. The RedmiBook Pro 15 has 3.2k screen with support for 90Hz high refresh-rate, 4.3mm narrow frame and 89.1% screen-to-body ratio, and the RedmiBook Pro 14 has 2.5k screen with 4.3mm narrow frame and 88.2% screen-to-body ratio. Along with the Redmi Note 10 5G series, Xiaomi under its Redmi brand also introduced its Redmi AirDots 3 Pro, the next-generation budget true wireless earbuds in China. It has the latest Bluetooth 5.2, dual-device connectivity and can achieve a low latency of as low as 69ms. It also has active noise cancellation with up to 35dB active noise reduction, thanks to feed-forward and feed-back microphones it effectively eliminates external environmental noise during calls. It packs a 6.6-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, Adaptive sync variable refresh rate to switch between 120Hz, 90Hz, 60Hz, 50Hz, 48Hz and 24Hz depending on the content, supports DCI-P3 color gamut and has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It is powered by Dimensity 1100 with support for 5G SA/NSA, up to 8GB of RAM and has 16370mm² VC liquid cooling, graphite, thermal conductive gel and copper foil, so the whole body is covered for the best heat dissipation. Xiaomi officially removed from U.S. DoD blacklist

Back in January, the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) released a blacklist of 9 companies including Xiaomi as a Communist Chinese Military Company. After contesting the decision in February, a U.S. federal judge temporarily blocked the DoD from enforcing the consequences of the decision in March. Redmi Note 8 2021 with 6.3-inch FHD+ display, Helio G85, 48MP quad rear cameras announced

[Update – May 25: Xiaomi has confirmed the pricing for the phone. The 4GB+64GB version is priced at US$ 169 (Rs. 12,305 approx.) and the 4GB+128GB version costs $189 (Rs. 13,760 approx.). Xiaomi reduces MIUI Security app animations for low end devices

Xiaomi proprietary Android skin MIUI offers a security app that has various features including Cleaner, Speed Booster, WhatsApp Cleaner, and a lot more. The app got a major overhaul with MIUI 10, but Xiaomi baked in various animations to the Security app with MIUI 12. These animations didn’t probably work smoothly on the low-end devices, as Xiaomi has decided to ditch the animation with the new version of the Security app. Xiaomiui, a Xiaomi-focused blog, took it to Twitter to share the screenshots from the new Security app.

Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition 40-inch Smart TV with bezel-less design launching in India on June 1

Xiaomi launched the Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition series of smart TVs in India that includes 32-inch HD ready and 43-inch Full HD models with immersive Horizon display with minimal bezels back in September last year. Today it has confirmed the launch of new 40-inch model in the country on June 1st. The company has confirmed Horizon Display with bezel-less design and the image matches it.
