Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra with 6.81-inch Quad HD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, Dolby Vision, Snapdragon 888, IP68 water resistance announced

Xiaomi just announced Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra, the company’s latest flagship Mi 11 smartphone as it had promised. These phones pack a 6.81-inch E4 AMOLED quad curved DotDisplay with peak brightness of 1,700 nits, 120Hz refresh rate and touch sampling rate of 480Hz and MEMC motion compensation. In addition to HDR 10+, it also has Dolby Vision support. These also come with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus that offers better scratch and drop resistance. The Mi 11 Ultra also has a 1.1-inch AMOLED secondary always-on display on the back for notifications and selfie preview. Mi 11i with 6.67-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 888, 108MP camera to be introduced alongside Mi 11 Lite and Mi 11 Ultra today

Xiaomi is all set to introduce the Mi 11 Pro / Ultra phones and the Mi 11 Lite later today. We already have the specifications of the Mi 11 Ultra and the Mi 11 Lite, now the company has confirmed that it will introduce the Mi 11i, which will be the global version of the Redmi K40 Pro+ that was introduced in China last month. Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 6 to be announced on March 29, could feature a bigger screen, SpO2 monitoring, 30 Sports modes

Xiaomi already confirmed the announcement of new Mi 11 series smartphones including Mi 11 Pro, Mi 11 Ultra and Mi 11 Lite as well as new Mi MIX models on March 29th. Now it has confirmed that it will introduce the Mi Smart Band 6, successor to last year’s Mi Band 5 at the event. The design looks like the predecessor, but the teaser image reveals that the body is larger, and the curvature of the screen edge will be more obvious. Xiaomi confirms new Mi MIX will feature liquid lens; Mi 11 Ultra to use silicon-oxygen anode battery

Xiaomi posts 12.8% YoY increase in profits in 2020, shipped 146.4 million smartphones, up 17.5% YoY

Xiaomi has reported its earning for the fourth quarter (Q4 2020) and the whole financial year of 2020 that ended December 31, 2020. It reported revenue of 245.9 billion yuan (US$ 37.57 billion) for FY 2020, an increase of 19.4% compared to FY 2019. Revenue from overseas markets increased 34.1% year-over-year to 122.4 billion yuan, accounting for 49.8% of total revenue. Net profit for year 2020 was approximately 13.478 billion yuan. Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite with 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, Snapdragon 780G 5G 5nm SoC surfaces ahead of March 29 announcement

Xiaomi is all set to introduce the Mi 11 Pro and Ultra phones on March 29th. Earlier rumour revealed that Mi 11 Lite will also join them. Specifications and the rear design of the phone surfaced, and it said that the phone will be 6mm slim and weigh 150 grams. Now more renders of the phone have surfaced. The phone is said to come with Snapdragon 732G SoC for the 4G version as rumoured earlier, and there will also be a 5G version with upcoming Snapdragon 780G SoC with built-in Snapdragon X53 modem. Xiaomi Mi 11 series confirmed to launch in India soon

Xiaomi has confirmed that it will launch Mi 11 series of smartphones in India soon. The company doesn’t reveal how many phones it plans to launch. The company launched the Mi 11 in China in January and for global markets last month. Xiaomi Mi QLED TV 4K 55-inch Review

In the last 2 years, the Indian smart TV market saw a huge influx of products from many smartphone manufacturers. One of the biggest companies among them is Xiaomi, who first launched the Mi TV 4 back in February 2018. Since then their portfolio in the smart TV has expanded, and they now offer 9 TVs, across two product series and various sizes ranging from 32 inches to 65 inches. Xiaomi receives relief as US Judge suspends US DoD Blacklist decision

Back in January, the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) released a blacklist of 9 companies that they claimed to be under the control of the Chinese Military, among which Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Xiaomi was included. After contesting the decision last month, a U.S. federal judge has now temporarily blocked the DoD from enforcing the consequences of the decision.

MIUI Global Stable ROM testing program announced for range of Xiaomi and POCO phones ahead of MIUI 12.5 roll out

Xiaomi announced the latest iteration of its own proprietary Android skin MIUI, dubbed MIUI 12.5 along with Mi 11 at a global event back last month. As per the schedule, the eligible devices will start receiving the MIUI 12.5 update starting Q2 2021. Now, the company has announced MIUI Global Stable ROM testing program ahead of MIUI 12.5 roll-out. Along with Xiaomi, POCO has also announced MIUI Stable testing program for a few devices.
