Xiaomi introduced the Redmi Note 3 smartphone with metal body and a fingerprint sensor last month. It went on sale in China couple of weeks back, and we managed to get one from Hong Kong. Check out the unboxing video.

Xiaomi is all set to launch its Redmi Note 2 Prime smartphone in India soon, reveals Amazon.in teaser, which says that #PrimeIsComing. Even though the teaser doesn’t reveal the smartphone, the image of the smartphone resembles the Note 2 Prime. Looks like the Ericsson patent issue is going to be settled soon or the smartphone might come with a different processor. We will have to wait for the launch to find out. Earlier this year in March, Microsoft announced that they will be releasing a Windows 10 ROM for the Xioami Mi 4. Up until now, it has been in the Beta stage. Now, Xiaomi have announced that the ROM will go live for the smartphone on 3rd December.

Xiaomi today introduced Mi Air Purifier 2, successor of the company’s first Air Purifier that was introduced last year. This compact second generation air purifier from Xiaomi is smaller, measuring just 240mm x 520mm is 11% quieter and is 58% power efficient compared to the fist Mi Air Purifier. Xiaomi today announced Mi Pad 2, successor of last year’s Mi Pad at an event in China, as it promised, along with the Redmi Note 3. It has the same 7.9-inch (2048 × 1536 pixels) display at 326 ppi as the first Mi Pad, but the NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor has been replaced by a quad-core Intel Atom X5-Z8500. Xiaomi toady announced the Redmi Note 3, the company’s latest Redmi Note series smartphone, as it promised. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p screen, is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio X10 processor and runs on MIUI 7 based on Android Lollipop. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF), resulting in a quick focus of just 0.1 second. It also has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Last week Xiaomi’s Co-founder and President, Lin Bin, posted teaser image of an upcoming Redmi Note series smartphone that will be unveiled tomorrow, November 24th. It was expected to be called the Redmi Note 2 Pro, but Xiaomi today confirmed that it will be released as the Redmi Note 3, which will be the successor of Redmi Note 2 that was introduced back in August.
