vivo just launched the T1x smartphone in India, as it had promised. It has a 6.58-inch FHD+ LCD screen with 90Hz refresh rate and an 8MP front camera inside the notch. The T1x is powered by Snapdragon 680 SoC with 4-layer liquid cooling system, which the company says is the first in the price segment. It has up to 6GB of RAM with up to 6GB of RAM expansion, and runs Android 12 with Funtouch OS 12. vivo T1x launching in India on July 20

Update: vivo has confirmed the launch of T1x smartphone in the country on July 20th. It also shows dual rear cameras, and the company has confirmed that it will be powered by Snapdragon 680 SoC, so it will be a 4G phone, same as the one that was released in Malaysia. vivo Y77 with 6.64″ FHD+ 120Hz display, Dimensity 930, up to 12GB RAM, 80W fast charging announced

vivo has announced Y77, the company’s latest mid-range phone in the Y series, in China. It packs a 6.64-inch Full HD+ 120Hz LCD screen with 91.13% screen-to-body ratio and an 8MP camera inside the punch-hole. It is the first phone to be powered by the latest Dimensity 930 SoC, comes with up 12GB of RAM and a 50-megapixel main camera, along with a 2-megapixel macro camera. Vivo India transferred Rs. 62,476 crore to China: ED

The country’s financial watchdog, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) today said that it carried out searches at 48 locations of VIVO Mobiles India Private Limited and its 23 associated companies spanning across the country as part of its investigation into possible violations of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) by the Chinese smartphone maker and its partners. vivo has rescheduled its T2 launch, now it has silently introduced the T2x smartphone in China as the successor to last year’s T1x. The phone has 6.58-inch Full HD+ screen with support for 144Hz refresh rate, 16MP front camera inside the notch and is powered by Dimensity 1300 SoC with VC liquid cooling and 8GB of RAM. These come with an FHD+ AMOLED screens with 120Hz refresh rate, but the S15 Pro has a 6.56-inch E5 AMOLED screen with up to 1500 nits brightness, while the S15 comes with a 6.62-inch E4 AMOLED screen. The S15 is powered by Snapdragon 870 and the S15 Pro Pro is powered by Dimensity 8100 SoC with vapor chamber cooling. Along with the vivo X80 series, vivo also launched its TWS 2 and TWS 2e true wireless earbuds in India, a year after these were introduced in China. The TWS 2 earbuds has DeepX 2.0 and DEEP-HD Ultra-Clear Audio Engine, Bluetooth 5.2 with support for aptX Adaptive codec, has 12.2mm driver unit, 88ms low latency mode and uses three microphones to achieve up 40dB noise reduction.
