Sony has launched Xperia X and Xperia XA, the company’s latest smartphone in the new ‘X Series’ in India. Both these were announced at the MWC earlier this year. The Xperia X has a 5-inch 1080p screen, is powered by a Hexa-Core Snapdragon 650 SoC, has a fingerprint sensors on the power button and a 23-megapixel rear camera with Predictive Hybrid Autofocus that lets you choose your subject and then predicts its motion.

Sony Mobile has accidentally revealed the image of its upcoming Xperia E5 smartphone on its social media channels before pulling them down. This shows the smartphone in black and white colors and the phone is expected to feature a metal frame. It will also have NFC support. Sony F3311 already surfaced in GFXBench listing, confirming most of the specifications of the phone. It is also expected to come in dual SIM variant, Xperia E5 dual, similar to the Xperia E4 series. It has a 6-inch 1080p, is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P10 (MT6755) processor and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). It has a 21.5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, Hybrid Auto-Focus and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera that also has a LED flash and OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) for capturing shake-free selfies. Sony already confirmed that it is retiring its Z series of smartphones for its new X series. Now reports from Asian tech media confirms that Sony will also end the Xperia C and Xperia M series as well and will concentrate on the Xperia X series, which will be a single brand till 2018. Two new Sony’s upcoming smartphones, F3216 and F3311 have surfaced in GFXBench. A month after rolling out Android Marshmallow update for Xperia Z5, Z5 Compact and the Z5 Premium last month, Sony Mobile has started rolling out Android 6.0.1 update for its Xperia Z2 and Z3 series. The update is currently live for the Xperia Z2 (D6503 only), Xperia Z3 (D6603 only) and Xperia Z3 Compact (D5803 only). These phones were part of the beta program and the final version of the firmware has the same build number (23.5.A.0.570) as beta.
