Sony has started rolling out Android Marshmallow 6.0 update for a couple of devices. First up, the update is coming to the Japanese variants of the entire Xperia Z5 lineup which includes the Xperia Z5, Z5 Compact and the Z5 Premium. The update will soon follow the global variants in the coming weeks.

Sony Xperia Z3+ price drops to Rs. 25999 in India

Sony launched its flagship Xperia Z3+ smartphone in India back in June last year for Rs. 55,990, now the smartphone is available for just Rs. 25,999 in the country from Amazon.in. Sony didn’t change much in the Xperia Z3+ from the Z3. The major change was Octa-Core Snapdragon 810 processor, but it comes with the same 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Triluminos Display and has Sony’s Omni balance design with glass back. Play Station 4 to get remote play for PC and Mac
Play Station 4 is getting an important update that will enable you to play games on a PC or Mac. Dubbed as remote play, the feature which is part of the 3.50 update is rolling out in beta. Remote Play allows PlayStation 4 owners to stream gameplay to select devices over their home internet connection.

Sony, Tokyo Tech and others develop 60 GHz 6.1 Gbps wireless transfer system for mobile

Sony has announced that it has partnered with Tokyo Tech, Japan Radio and KDDI Labs to jointly develop and implement 40 GHz and 60 GHz wave-based high-throughput wireless access network that combines 40 GHz operation for outdoor networks with 60 GHz operation for mobiles to enable large data size content delivery on the gigabyte scale. It has a 5-inch HD curved glass edge-to-edge display, is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P10 (MT6755) processor and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow).
