Samsung extends Galaxy S20 series pre-booking offer redemption in India

Samsung introduced its Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy S20 Ultra smartphones back in February, and started pre-bookings for these phones soon after along with several launch offers. At that time the company said that the offers can be redeemed till April 30th. Now Samsung has announced that those who have pre-booked Galaxy S20 in India, but have been unable to redeem the offers due to the ongoing lockdown in the country can now collect and activate their smartphone till May 20, 2020. Samsung Smart TVs from 2018 till 2020 to get Apple Music app

It is not very often we see Apple bringing its software services to non-Apple hardware. Apple announced in 2019 that they would be bringing native AirPlay 2 support on select LG and Samsung TVs and now, Samsung has announced that select models of their Smart TV models will be receiving support for the Apple Music app.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip gets Flex mode-optimized YouTube app

Samsung had announced a deeper partnership with Google during its Samsung Unpacked event in February 2020. As part of this partnership, Samsung would have better integration with some of Google’s services and today they announced that a Flex-optimised version of the YouTube app will be available for the Galaxy Z Flip.

Samsung launches Blood Pressure Monitoring App for the Galaxy Watches

Update 16th April 2020: The price of Galaxy Tab S6 Lite has been announced in various markets. The WiFi variant costs 379 euros (US$ 411 / Rs. 31,507) and the LTE variant costs 439 euros (US$ 476 / Rs. 36,495 approx.), and will be available starting April 30th, 202o in markets like Germany, Belgium, Russia, France, Italy. Samsung demos 5G mmWave on multiple devices with peak speeds of 8.5Gbps

Microsoft adds drag and drop file sharing support between Windows and Samsung smartphones

During its Galaxy S20 series launch event, Samsung had announced that they were partnering with Microsoft to provide deeper integration and services between products from the two companies. Samsung said to be working on custom Exynos SoC for Google; could be announced this year

Samsung’s in-house Exynos SoCs have been there for a while now, and the company is set to launch Exynos SoCs with AMD Graphics next year which could drastically improve the GPU performance. Lately, Exynos SoCs are being used on non-Samsung smartphones as well and on similar lines now, a new report suggests that Samsung is working on a custom chipset for Google which could be announced as soon as this year.

Samsung Galaxy A41 with 6.1-inch FHD+ AMOLED Infinity-U Display, 48MP triple rear cameras announced for global markets

Samsung announced Galaxy A41 in Japan for NTT Docomo last month, but that will no go on sale until June. Now it has introduced a new Galaxy A41 smartphone for the global markets. It packs a similar 6.1-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity screen with in-display fingerprint sensor, is powered by an Octa-Core processor (could be Snapdragon 675) with 4GB RAM, runs Android 10 with OneUI 2.0, and  features a 48-megapixel rear camera along with an 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle lens, 5-megapixel depth sensor and a 25-megapixel front camera, but the camera design is different.
