Samsung introduces LPDDR5X DRAM with up to 8.5 Gbps data processing speeds, 20% less power consumption for mobile devices

Samsung, a leader in memory and semiconductor technology, has unveiled their next generation 14nm-based 16Gb LPDDR5X DRAM. It will succeed the existing 8Gb LPDDR5 DRAM from Samsung, and is designed to boost speed, capacity and power savings for future 5G applications.

Samsung Galaxy A53 5G with AMOLED Infinity-O 120Hz display, no 3.5mm audio jack surfaces in renders

First CAD-based renders of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A53 5G have surfaced, thanks to @OnLeaks. This shows a similar flat AMOLED screen as the Galaxy A52 series, but the renders show a less prominent camera bump. However, it is still expected to stick with quad rear cameras. Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra with built-in S Pen surfaces in live images; S22 series said to launch on February 8

CAD-based renders of the upcoming Galaxy S22 Ultra surfaced in September, now the first live images of the phone has surfaced, thanks to  leaker Jon Prosser. Earlier renders revealed a pill-shaped rear camera module, but this is just plain, but the placement of the sensors and the flash are similar. Samsung’s Q3 2021 revenue hits all-time high, profits up 28% YoY, mobile profits down 24.4% YoY

Samsung has reported its earnings for Q3 2021 that ended September 30, 2021 in which the company posted 73.98 trillion won ($63 billion approx.) consolidated revenue, up 10.4% YoY which is the new high beating the previous record. It made an operating profit of 15.82 trillion won ($13 billion approx.), up 28.09% YoY. SDC 21: Samsung announces Tizen OS improvements, opening it up for other TV brands

Samsung held their Samsung Developer Conference 2021 (SDC21) yesterday, where they announced a number of new software products across their ecosystem. Samsung’s SmartThings platform will soon be completely integrated with Matter standard, Bixby will be capable of on-device command processing and Samsung’s Tizen software will soon be available on more devices.

Samsung Galaxy Book, Galaxy Book Odyssey and Galaxy Book Pro 360 5G with 11th Gen Intel Core processors announced

Samsung has unveiled three additions to their Galaxy Book lineup, namely the Galaxy Book, Galaxy Book Odyssey, and Galaxy Book Pro 360 5G. These new laptops feature 11th Generation Intel Core CPUs with optional discrete NVIDIA RTX GPUs, offer improved displays with touchscreen options, and run Windows 11 out-of-the-box. Samsung introduced the Galaxy Book Go series powered by ARM-based Qualcomm Snapdragon processors back in June.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra with 14.6-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, Galaxy Tab S8 with 11-inch 120Hz display surface in renders

Specifications of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series surfaced back in May, now the renders of the Tab S8 and Tab S8 Ultra have surfaced, thanks to @OnLeaks. This shows a tiny notch for dual front cameras and ultra slim bezels for the Tab S8 Ultra, dual rear cameras and a magnetic strip for the S Pen. The tablet is said to feature quad speakers, but there is no headphone jack. Samsung W22 5G with 120Hz AMOLED foldable display, Snapdragon 888, 16GB RAM, Water resistant design, S Pen support announced

Samsung has announced Galaxy W22 5G, successor of last year’s W21 5G in China. It has similar specifications as Galaxy Z Fold3 5G including a 7.6-inch QXGA+ Infinity Flex Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen on the inside with 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, a 6.2-inch HD+ Dynamic AMOLED outer display that also has 120Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 888, Armour Aluminium frame,  IPX8 water resistance rating, and S Pen support. Samsung begins mass production of 14nm EUV DDR5 DRAM for AI and 5G workloads

Samsung, which has been producing DRAMs for a long time now has today announced that it has begun the mass production of 14-nanometer DRAM based on extreme ultraviolet (EUV) technology.
