Samsung today announced that it will invest INR 1,588 crore in Sriperumbudur, near Chennai, to build a new compressor manufacturing plant. Sriperumbudur is one of two Samsung factories in India, having been established in 2007. The company and the government of Tamil Nadu today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the new plant, which would develop and improve the state’s component ecosystem. Samsung just launched the Galaxy F23 5G, the company’s latest mid-range 5G smartphone in the F series, after teasing it recently. The successor to last year’s Galaxy F22 packs a 6.6-inch Full HD+ LCD Infinity-V display with 120Hz refresh rate, compared to the last year’s F22 4G model with a 6.4-inch 90Hz AMOLED display. This also has a faster Snapdragon 750G SoC with up to 6GB of RAM, RAM Plus feature and power cool technology to keep the temperature low. After rumours, Samsung has officially introduced the Galaxy M33 5G and M23 5G smartphones as well as Galaxy A13 4G phone in Spain. The company also listed the Galaxy A23 4G phone on its site. All these have a 6.6-inch FHD+ screen and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Both new M Series devices have a 120Hz refresh rate screens, and the A series features a 90Hz screen. Last week, Samsung was discovered to be selectively throttling nearly 10000 Android apps on their latest Galaxy S22 series of smartphones through a pre-installed app called Game Optimizing Service (GOS). Due to its selective nature of ignoring benchmarking apps, Geekbench, a popular benchmarking service, has decided to delist the device from their benchmarking ranks.

Samsung Galaxy A33 5G, successor to the Galaxy A32 surfaced in renders a few months back. Now the press images of the smartphone have surfaced that confirms the design that resembles the renders. This shows an Infinity U notch, quad rear cameras and more. Earlier rumours revealed IP67 ratings and 25W charging for the phone.
