Realme releases Android Pie ColorOS 6 update schedule
realme already confirmed that its older devices will get Android 9.0 (Pie) update along with ColorOS 6 soon. The company event rolled out Android Q beta 3 for its latest realme 3 Pro smartphone, which is the first phone in the range to support it. Now the company has confirmed that it will start beta testing for the Android Pie based ColorOS 6 update starting next week. This will also add Hyper Boost 2.0 for the devices with the update, expect realme 2, C1, and C2.

Realme X with Snapdragon 730 likely to launch in India soon as it receives BIS certification
Realme launched its latest smartphone, Realme 3 Pro in India last month. Recently, a new Realme smartphone named Realme X with the no-notch display was certified by TENAA in China. In similar lines, Realme X has now received the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification suggesting that the launch of the smartphone in India is imminent, after the China launch this month.

Realme launched the Realme 3 smartphone in March starting at Rs. 8999 for the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage version and the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version at Rs. 10,999. Now it has launched a new 3GB RAM with 64GB storage version at Rs. 9,999 that sits between the two versions, aimed at those who need more storage, but don’t want to spend slightly more. Realme RMX1901 with 6.5-inch no-notch display, dual rear cameras gets certified
Two new Realme smartphones with model numbers RMX1901 and RMX1851 have been certified by TENAA in China. The RMX1851 is the Realme 3 Pro that was launched in India earlier this week, but the RMX1901 is a new model. The image shows a no notch on the front, so there might be a pop-up camera, gradient back, AI dual rear cameras and possibly an in-display fingerprint scanner since the is no fingerprint scanner on the back.

Realme 3 Pro Review [Part 1]: OnePlus for the masses?
A fantastic camera for all conditions, class leading gaming performance, super fast charging and of course, amazing value for money. The Realme 3 Pro reminded me a lot of the OnePlus. Then I realized, of course it did… it’s brand OPPO and R&D that’s behind not only OnePlus, but Realme as well. All three companies share their resources, like fast charging, OS features, hardware expertise like camera algorithms etc between themselves. This made me think – At a starting price of Rs. 13,999, could Realme’s Pro series be OnePlus for the masses?

Realme just launched C2, the company’s latest budget smartphone and the successor of last year’s Realme C1 in India. It has a 6.1-inch HD+ Dewdrop display and 89.35% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by MediaTek Helio P22 SoC with up to 3GB of RAM and runs ColorOS 6.0 based on Android 9.0 (Pie).
