Realme announces Project X beta testing for Realme 3 Pro, could be Realme OS

Realme, since its inception, has gained popularity in the country because of VFM offerings in the mid-range smartphone segment. Last month, in an episode of #AskMadhav, company CEO, Madhav Sheth, had confirmed that the company is working on Realme OS, and said that the company will have an official release once it is ready. Today Madhav on his twitter account posted regarding beta testing of a mystery project which could be the Realme OS.

As per the tweet, the company is looking for fans that have experience in beta testing of software and reporting bugs, he also mentions that a limited number of users will be selected for the beta testing but the program is open for Realme 3 Pro users only. Users are expected to sign an NDA (non-disclosure agreement) with the company and are supposed to provide IMEI number of their device, the company has shared a form that users need to fill to apply for the Project X. As of now, we do not know if this is a beta testing program for Realme OS as it could be a beta testing program for Android Q based ColorOS for Realme 3 Pro, but we can expect to get more information regarding the Project X in coming weeks.
