HTC has announced the Desire EYE in India at the Double Exposure event today. It will be available in the country exclusively on Amazon late November. It was unveiled earlier this month in New York and packs a 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display with Corning Gorilla glass protection, 2.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with new HTC Sense UI. HTC has launched Desire 516c, a mid-range Android smartphone in India. This is the Dual SIM (CDMA + GSM) variant of the Desire 516 dual sim that was launched in the country back in June. It supports EDGE on one SIM and 3G EVDO Rev.A on the other. It has a 5-inch (960 x 540 pixels) display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor and runs on Android with Sense UI on top. It has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. HTC One M8 EYE launched in India for Rs. 38990

HTC One M8 EYE that went official in China recently, has been launched in India. Most specifications of the smartphone are similar to the HTC One M8, but this has a 13-megapixel rear camera instead of the Ultrapixel camera, similar to the Butterfly 2. It has the same 5-megapixel front-facing camera, similar to the One M8. It has a 5.0-inch 1080p display and is powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor. HTC has finally launched the Desire 820 and Desire 820q, the company’s latest mid-range smartphones in India. These have 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) display, run on Android 4.4 Kitkat with HTC Sense 6 UI on top, that it upgradable to upcoming Android 5.0. The Desire 820 is powered by a octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor ( four Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.5 GHz per core and four clocked at 1.0 GHz) with Adreno 405 GPU and the Desire 820q is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor Snapdragon 410 processor. HTC has launched the RE Camera, an action camera like the GoPro. It has a 16 megapixel sensor with a 146 degree wide-angle lens, capable of recording full HD video and 120 fps slow motion video at 720p. It has waterproof body with IP57 rating, and doesn’t require a case for protecting itself from any kind of water damage. It can also record Zoes, just like the other HTC phones.
