Oppo Find 7 was introduced as the successor of the Find 5. Oppo also unveiled the a variant with a 1080p display. Since both these share most features, Oppo decided to name it Find 7a, instead of Find 6. The Find 7a has a 5.5-inch display, bit larger than the 5-inch display on the Find 5, but the body is hardly larger than the Find 5. Oppo unveiled Find 7, the company’s first Snapdragon 801-powered smartphone earlier this month. It comes in two version, Find 7 with a Quad HD display and the Find 7a has a 1080p display. We already brought you the hands on impressions of the device, here we have the benchmarks of the smartphone. It is powered by quad-core Snapdragon 801 (MSM8974) 28nm HPm Krait 400 CPU clocked at 2.27 GHz with Adreno 330 GPU. It has a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display, 2GB RAM and runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) OS with Color OS on top. Let’s check out the performance in a range of synthetic benchmark tests. At an event in Beijing, we just witnessed the launch of Oppo’s next flagship device. Dubbed the Find 7, the phone combines some hardware firsts with a range of software innovations to create a very intriguing product. Oppo unveiled its flagship Oppo Find 7, the successor of the Oppo Find 5, at an event in China few hours back. It has a gorgeous 5.5-inch Quad HD display at a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels and a TOL (Touch On Lens) module. The ultra-sensitive touch lets you use the phone even when it’s wet or when wearing gloves. It has a solid build and a similar design that we had seen on the Oppo Find 5. Oppo announces Find 7a with 5.5inch Full HD display and Snapdragon 801 SoC

Oppo is holding an event today in China where they announced their latest flagship device – Oppo Find 7 and its slightly trimmed down counterpart – Oppo Find 7a. Oppo Find 7a comes with a 5.5inch Full HD display sporting a pixel density of 403ppi and has most other features similar to the Oppo Find 7 which comes with a 5.5inch Quad HD display sporting a pixel density of 538ppi.

Oppo has finally unveiled the Find 7, the company’s latest flagship smartphone at an event in China. It has a 5.5-inch (2560×1440 pixels) Quad HD 538ppi LTPS display from JDI with Corning gorilla glass protection and Touch-on-Lens technology, powered by a 2.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 (MSM8974AC) processor with Adreno 330 GPU and runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) with Color OS 1.2 on top. It has a 13-megapixel camera Sony IMX214 stacked sensor with 6-element lens, f/2.0 aperture and uses software enhancements to capture images at 50-megapixel (8,160 x 6,120 pixels) resolution. The camera is also capable of shooting RAW images and has 4K video recording. It has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. Oppo is all set to unveil the Find 7, the company’s upcoming smartphones in two variants at an event on March 19th. A webio user has posted images of the Oppo Find 7 HD, the 1080p version of the device. Chinese website Mydrivers has managed to grab these images, before it was removed. Oppo had been teasing about their upcoming flagship – Oppo Find 7 right from December 2013 and the announcement is more than a week away. In the meantime, there have been numerous leaks suggesting the specifications of the device. Very recently, an image with the specifications of the Find 7 seems to have surfaced online.

Oppo confirms two variants of Oppo Find 7 are coming

Oppo has used its Twitter account very efficiently to keep its fans guessing about what to expect from their next flagship. It was through the official Twitter account that they teased that Oppo Find 7 would be coming with a 2K display sporting a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. They also used Twitter to announce that they will be unveiling the next generation Oppo flagship in an event on March 19.

Oppo Find 7 rumored to be coming with a 50MP camera

Oppo Find 5 was the first Full HD smartphone and Oppo had hoped they would be the first to announce a 2K display phone in the form of Oppo Find 7 at CES 2014 earlier this year, but things did not go according to their plan and they are yet to announce the Oppo Find 7. Oppo has set the announcement of Oppo Find 7 for March 19 and we look forward to that day.

Oppo had teased about their upcoming flagship – Find 7, sometime before the CES 2014, but they did not showcase the 2K display device at CES 2014. Now, just before the MWC 2014, we are having leaks of the Oppo Find 7 and there is so information to be taken in before you read further. Rumors point to two variants of Find 7 and one variant will have a 2K QHD display while the other variant will bear a Full HD display.

Soon after its flagship Oppo N1, Oppo launched the Oppo Neo, a mid-range smartphone in India earlier this month. Now the Oppo Find 5 Mini is available in India from online retailer Snapdeal. It has a 4.7-inch (960 x 540 pixels) qHD IPS sensitive touch screen with glove mode, powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.2-based Color ROM. It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, BSI sensor, lens with blue glass filter and f/2.0 aperture and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.
