Oppo N1 and R1 get a price cut to Rs. 32,990 and Rs. 24,990 respectively

Oppo N1, the previous flagship device from the company and Oppo R1, the premium mid range handset, have both got themselves a price cut in the Indian retail market. Previously sold for Rs. 39,990, the Oppo N1 will now be sold for Rs. 32,990 whereas the Oppo R1, which started selling for Rs. 26,990 will now be sold for Rs. 24,990. Replacing the flagship N1 is the new Find 7 which was announced a while back in India, and it will instead sell for Rs. 37,990. This price cut comes after the portfolio refresh that happened recently, with the announcement of the new top end devices Find 7 and the Find 7a.

Oppo launched the Oppo R1 (R829), successor of last year’s Oppo R819 in India April in India priced at Rs. 26990. We brought you the unboxing and the benchmarks of the device recently, here we have the camera samples from the smartphone. It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with Fujitsu ISP,  1/3.2″ Sony IMX179 sensor with pixel size of 1.4 microns, f/2.0 aperture, 5-element lens and blue glass filter. It also has a single LED flash. Oppo launched the Oppo R1 (R829), successor of last year’s Oppo R819 in India April in India priced at Rs. 26990. We brought you the unboxing of the device recently, here we have the benchmarks of the smartphone. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor and Mali 400 GPU. It packs 1GB RAM, runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) based Color OS and has a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display. It has premium build quality, but Oppo could have gone with a faster Snapdragon SoC to justify the high price tag. Check out the synthetic benchmark scores below. Oppo Find 7a launched in India for Rs. 31990

Oppo has launched the Find 7a along with the Find 7 in India. It has a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) full HD display at 403 PPI with Gorilla Glass 3, powered by a 2.3 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 Quad Core (MSM8974AB) processor and runs on ColorOS 1.2.0 based on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean). It has the same 13-megapixel camera Sony IMX214 stacked sensor with 6-element lens, f/2.0 aperture present on the Find 7 and uses software enhancements to capture images at 50-megapixel (8,160 x 6,120 pixels) resolution. The camera is also capable of shooting RAW images and has 4K video recording. It has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. Oppo unveiled few details about the N1 mini last month ahead of its launch event. Today at an event in Beijing the company unveiled the N1 mini, a compact version of its last year’s flagship Oppo N1. The N1 mini has a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display from JDI, powered by a 1.6 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor and runs on Android based Color OS 1.4. It has a 13-megapixel rotating camera with  1/3.2″ Sony IMX214 stacked sensor, 6-element lens,  f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. Oppo has unveiled Oppo R3, the company’s latest smartphone in the R series at an event in Beijing. It has a 5-inch ( 1280 x 720 pixels) display, powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor and runs on Android with Color OS on top. It is just 6.3mm thick and has magnesium alloy body. Oppo Mobile India has just sent us a press invite for the launch of the Oppo Find 7 on June 11th as it promised back in April. It is the company’s flagship smartphone that was announced back in March. Oppo Find 7a Camera Samples

Oppo Find 7a is one of the successors of the popular Oppo Find 5. Oppo Find 7a comes with a 13MP rear camera that can record 4K videos thanks to the Snapdragon 801 SoC inside it. There is a also a 5MP front camera that was designed for video chatting, but is being used these days for “selfies”. The Oppo Find 5 too had a 13MP rear shooter and it was a very capable one. The Oppo Find 7a is arriving a year later than the Find 5 and lets check out how improved the camera on the Oppo Find 7a is.

As you can see above, the 4K video samples is full of colors and details. The Oppo Find 7a definitely has one of the best 13MP camera modules on a smartphone and the software algorithm seems to complement the camera performance.

Oppo N1 mini, a smaller version of the company’s 2013 flagship, the Oppo N1 was teased by the company. It was expected to be unveiled today, but the company has just teased the smartphone and at the same time it has also revealed important specifications of the smartphone. It would come with the same 13-megapixel swivel camera with LED flash seen on the Oppo N1. The camera has a 1/3.2″ Sony sensor and f/2.0 aperture. The Oppo Find 7 had a new super zoom feature that combines four images to create a huge 50-megapixel image. The N1 mini has a similar mode that lets you create a 24-megapixel image. After successfully launching its flagship smartphone OPPO N1 in December last year, OPPO is gearing up for its next launch in the N1 series. The Chinese electronic company has officially set a launch date for OPPO N1 mini on May 30th OPPO announced the date on its official Weibo account.

Oppo Find 7a Review

Introduction

The Oppo Find 7a is one of the two successors of the Oppo Find 5. Oppo Find 7a is the slightly toned down variant among Oppo Find 7 and Find 7a, but by no means is short of power thanks to a Snapdragon 800 that powers the device. The Oppo Find 5 helped establish Oppo as one of the few Chinese companies which values its products and spends a lot of time on the design and build quality. Oppo Find 5 was one solidly built smartphone and the Find 7a takes after its predecessor with a similar sturdy build, but with a removable back cover, user replaceable battery and a microSD card slot. The Oppo Find 7a is available in India for Rs. 31,990 and lets check out how it competes against the slightly higher priced competition.

Oppo has launched Oppo Joy, the company’s latest budget Android smartphone in India. It was announced last month and packs a 4-inch (800 x 480 pixels) WVGA IPS sensitive touch screen with glove mode, powered by a 1.3 GHz dual core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Color OS).
