Earlier this month OPPO and Amazon India partnered to introduce the Realme smartphone brand, and it had promised it has launched the Realme 1 smartphone in the country. It packs a 6-inch FHD+ display with 1.98mm slim bezels on the sides and 84.8% screen-to-body ratio, but it doesn’t have a notch like the OPPO A3 that was introduced recently. OPPO today has announced that it has successfully demoed world’s first 5G video call using 3D structured light technology. After teasing a new brand yesterday, Amazon India has officially announced the launch of its new Realme brand in partnership with OPPO. It also said that the first phone – Realme 1 will launch with them exclusively on May 15th. This reveals Black Diamond version of the phone with triangular-cut patterns that shimmer bright and dark shades when seen from different angles, same as the OPPO F7. Last week OPPO introduced A3 with similar Diamond patterns on the back, so the Realme 1 could be a cheaper version with a similar design. This has a similar 6.23-inch Full HD+19:9 aspect ratio display with 88% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by MediaTek Helio P60 with up to 6GB RAM, runs on ColorOS 5.0 based on Android 8.1 (Oreo) and has a 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, as the F7, but this has an 8-megapixel front camera instead of 25-megapixel front camera on the F7.
