OPPO Enco Free True Wireless Earbuds with Low-latency mode, AI call noise reduction announced

OPPO just introduced Enco Free, the company’s latest true wireless earphones in China along with the Reno3 series, as it had promised. It has 13.4mm drivers that promises dynamic bass, Bluetooth 5.0 support and has IPX4 ratings for protection against sweat and splashes. OPPO says that it is the world’s first true wireless headset that uses ultra dynamic speakers with dual magnetic circuit design used in high-end audio devices and is also the industry’s first to use aluminum-magnesium-titanium composite diaphragm, which makes treble clear.

OPPO just announced Reno3 and Reno3 Pro 5G smartphones at an event in China, as it had promised. The Reno3 Pro 5G features a 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED 90Hz punch-hole display with 93.4% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by Snapdragon 765G with up to 12GB of RAM, pack a 4025mAh battery, weighs 180 grams and features 7.7mm slim body. The Reno3 5G is the first phone to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1000L SoC and features a 6.4-inch waterdrop notch AMOLED screen. OPPO A91 with 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, 48MP quad rear cameras, in-display fingerprint scanner and OPPO A8 announced

After rumors and certification OPPO today introduced A91 and A8, the company’s latest smartphones in the A series in China. The A91 packs a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with 90.7 screen-to-body ratio, is powered by MediaTek Helio P70 SoC with 8GB of RAM, packs 48-megapixel rear camera along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel depth and 2-megapixel camera cameras. There is also a 16-megapixel front camera. It packs a 4000mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 flash charge fast charging that can charge the phone up to 50% in 30 minutes. OPPO Developer Conference (ODC) 2019 saw a bunch of new initiatives announced by OPPO aimed at building a worldwide ecosystem with developers and partners. The three main initiatives include the Gravity Plan 2.0, the Five System-level Capability Exposure Engines and the IoT Enablement Plan.

OPPO Reno3 5G with MediaTek Dimensity 1000 and Reno3 Pro 5G with Snapdragon 765G, up to 12GB RAM, quad rear cameras get certified

OPPO is all set to introduce the Reno 3 and Reno 3 Pro smartphones at an event on December 26th. The company already confirmed Reno 3 Pro 5G will be powered by Snapdragon 765G, pack a 4025mAh battery, weigh 180 grams and feature 7.7mm slim body. It also said that Reno3 5G will be the first phone to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1000 SoC. These will come with ColorOS 7 based on Android 10 out of the box and will have support for 5G standalone and non-stand alone (SA/NSA) sub-6GHz networks. Now the phones have been certified by TENAA with the model numbers PDCM00 and PDCM00 confirming the complete specifications. OPPO Find X2 with Snapdragon 865, new Sony Image Sensor to be announced in Q1 2020

OPPO at the Qualcomm tech summit confirmed that it will introduce its next flagship smartphone powered by Snapdragon 865 Mobile Platform in Q1 2020. Now the company has confirmed that it will be the Find X2, successor of the Find X which was introduced last year. The phone will have higher resolution, improved refresh rate, better colors, and wider dynamic range compared to its predecessor, said the company. OPPO Reno3 Pro 5G with 7.7mm glass body, Snapdragon 765G and Reno3 5G teased ahead of December announcement [Update: New teasers]

Update: December 9, 2019 – OPPO has posted a new video teaser for the Reno3 Pro showing off its quad rear cameras, metal frame and glass back with a gradient finish. Both the phone have a similar rear camera arrangement, but the position of the LED flash is different. However, only the Reno3 Pro has a punch-hole screen on the left side, while the Reno3 features a water-drop notch screen with a slightly bigger bottom bezel.

OPPO, ZTE, Motorola and others to launch Snapdragon 865-powered 5G phones in 2020

At the Snapdragon Tech Summit 2019 Xiaomi confirmed Snapdragon 765G for its K30 smartphone that will be introduced in China next week and their Mi 10 smartphone with Snapdragon 865 will be introduced in Q1 2019. Nokia said that its 765G-powered 5G phone will be introduced in 2020. In addition, several other companies such as OPPO, ZTE and Motorola also announced their plans to launch Snapdragon 865-powered 5G phones in 2020.
