Microsoft introduced the Microsoft Band, a fitness tracker for US$ 199. This is the first fitness band from Microsoft, and it works with Android and iOS devices too, in addition to Windows Phone 8.1 devices. We managed to get one from the U.S. Here is the unboxing of the Microsoft Band.

Microsoft teased the first Microsoft branded smartphone last week, which would be announced tomorrow, November 11th. WMPoweruser has got hold of the images of the dummy unit of the Lumia 535 smartphone that is expected to be announced tomorrow. Most of the specifications of the smartphone, including a 5-inch qHD (960 x 540 pixels) display and dual SIM support and a 1905 mAh battery were already outed by TENAA listing, now the website has detailed specifications of the smartphone. Microsoft has unveiled free Office for iPhone and iPad allowing users to create and edit documents in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. The company also released standalone Word, Excel, and PowerPoint apps for the iPhone, along with a new preview of these apps for Android tablets.
Microsoft has teamed with Dropbox in order to improve integration between Microsoft Office and Dropbox. Users can now easily access Dropbox directly from Office apps and edit Office files from the Dropbox app.

Samsung is claiming that Microsoft has violated the deal between the two after it completed the Nokia acquisition earlier this year, as per the latest report from Reuters.
