Microsoft has sent out invites for its fall Windows 10 event in New York City on October 26. The invite just says Imagine what you’ll do on a window, and the company says that it will detail what’s next for Windows 10. It is not expected to introduce a new Surface Pro 2-in-1 or Surface Book 2 since these are slated to be unveiled only in 2017 along with the Windows 10 Redstone 2. We can expect some details about the upcoming major Redstone update that the company plans to release through two major software updates in 2017.

BIO-key International, popular for its biometric software and hardware solutions has announced SideSwipe, SideTouch and EcoID, three new compact USB fingerprint reader accessories with support for Windows Hello unlocking in Windows 10. As the name suggests, SideSwipe lets you swipe to register fingerprint and the SideTouch records your fingerprint just by touching. This uses virtualization-based security technology to protect against advanced attacks that can infiltrate your network and devices via the Internet beyond the kernel level. “This level of protection has never been more important, as the majority of attacks start in the browser,” says Microsoft. Microsoft has launched Nokia 216 Dual SIM, its latest feature phone in India. It has a 2.8-inch (320 x 240 pixels) QVGA LCD screen and comes with VGA cameras on the front and back and also has LED flash for both the cameras.
