Lenovo K900 Gaming Performance Overview

While we are busy writing our complete review of the Lenovo K900, we thought it would be right to show you the gaming performance overview, as a glimpse into the performance aspect of the Intel Z2580 system on a chip residing inside this flagship device. The 2 GHz dual core processor has a total of 4 threads thanks to Intel’s own Hyper Threading technology and giving company is the PowerVR SGX 544 MP2 for graphics. Impressively enough, the GPU is clocked at a high 533 MHz frequency, making it one of the fastest clock rates for the specific model. All said, lets move on to the gaming part of the device then!

We played two games individually and then gave an overview of the performance with two additional games. Here are the videos –

Shadow Gun Gameplay

As you can see above, both the games are pretty graphically intensive and the device seemed to hold its own in terms of performance and overall smoothness. The only problem we faced though, is the device rapidly heating up while gaming. It was very clear that the phone is under stress and is dissipating heat as soon as possible, but having a thin and svelte 6.9mm frame, that too with a stainless steel back makes it easier for the heat to dissipate. Here is a complete gaming performance overview with two additional games –

So, yes, despite the heating issues, the games perform really well and the itsy bitsy lag doesn’t really hinder the experience. But there is more to it than it meets the eye, so do check back for our complete review, we will have more performance details for you.
