Huawei launched the Honor 5X smartphone in India at a price tag of Rs. 12,999 last week. It went on sale through Flipkart and Amazon.in earlier this week. We already brought you the benchmarks of the smartphone, here we have its battery life test results. It packs a 3000mAh built-in battery with fast charging support. It has a 5-inch 1080p screen, is powered by an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) with EMUI 3.1 Lite. Check out the test results below.

Huawei Honor 5X Benchmarks

Huawei launched the Honor 5X smartphone in India at a price tag of Rs. 12999 last week. It went on sale yesterday. We already brought you the photo gallery of the smartphone, here we have the benchmarks. It is powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 64-bit processor (Even though CPU-Z shows it has Snapdragon 615) that has four ARM Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.50 GHz per core and other four Cortex A53 cores are clocked at 1.21 GHz per core. It has Adreno 405 GPU clocked at 550 MHz, 2GB RAM, 5-inch 1080p screen and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) with EMUI 3.1 Lite. Honor 5X with metal body and fingerprint sensor goes on sale in India for Rs. 12999

Honor, Huawei’s Smartphone e-brand today announced that it has started selling it’s latest Honor 5X smartphone in India. “Since the start of sales on Flipkart and Amazon, at 12 a.m. on February 1, Honor 5X smartphone has witnessed strong demand, like its predecessor the Honor 4X. Honor 4X units were sold out within a minute of the flash sale, and the model sold over 10 million units globally,” said the company. Honor 5X launched in the US for $199.99

Huawei launched the Honor 5X smartphone in India last week and now the phone has officially launched in the US. The phone which is the successor of the 4x smartphone sports a 5.5-inch 1080p display with 72.5% screen-to-body ratio.

Huawei has launched the Honor 6, the company’s latest smartphone in the Honor series. It was announced in China back in June and has a 5-inch 1080p display, powered by a Octa-Core HiSilicon Kirin 920 SoC and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Emotion UI 2.3 on top. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with Sony sensor, LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

Huawei has launched the Honor 3C, the company’s latest smartphone in the Honor series. Huawei has announced two new devices in the Honor series, the Honor 3X and the Honor 3C in China. The Honor 3X has a 5.5-inch 720p sensitive screen (usage with gloves) and the Honor 3C has a 5-inch 720p LTPS screen. The Honor 3X is powered by a 1.7 GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6592 processor and the Honor 3C is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor. Both these phones run on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) with Huawei’s own Emotion UI 2.0 on top. Here is the FoneArena review of the Huawei Honor. It was announced last year and was showcased at MWC 2012. It was available in India in April and officially launched by mid-April. It is Huawei’s first high-end phone available in India. Let’s get into the review. has 4-inch ( 854 x 480 pixels) LCD capacitive touchscreen display and is powered by 1.4GHz single-core processor. Huawei Honor and Ideos X5 Pro officially launched in India

Huawei has officially launched the Honor and Ideos X5 Pro in India. The Honor went on sale earlier this month online and packs in 4-inch ( 854 x 480 pixels) LCD capacitive touchscreen display, 1.4GHz processor, 8 MP AF camera with 720p HD video recording at 30 fps, 0.3MP front facing camera. The Ideos X5 Pro (also called new Ideos X5) is the successor of  Ideos X5 that was launched last June. It has 3.8-inch (800×480 pixels) TFT LCD capacitive touchscreen display and is powered by 1GHz processor. It has 5MP camera with Flash and 720p HD Video recording. Both phone run on  on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread).

Huawei Honor now available in India for Rs. 19,990


After getting listed on Flipkart, the Huawei Honor is now available in India from online retailer Flipkart. The Huawei Honor has 4-inch ( 854 x 480 pixels) LCD capacitive touchscreen display and is powered by 1.4GHz processor. It has 8 Mega-pixels AF camera with 720p HD video recording at 30 fps, 0.3MP front facing camera and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). It is 10.9mm thick and weighs 135g. Huawei Honor listed on Flipkart for Rs. 19,990

The Huawei Honor was announced over at MWC in Barcelona as a mid range Android handset. We were fairly impressed by the build quality of the handset but not too much by the UI layer used by Huawei on top of the Android Gingerbread build.
