Google Pay roll out begins today, replaces Android Pay

Last month Google announced that it is merging Android Pay and Google Wallet into a single brand – Google Pay, making it an unified payment solution. Google’s new AI algorithm can predict heart disease through retina scan

Google has announced its new AI algorithm that can detect heart diseases by retina scanning. Google Tez gets utility bill payments – Here’s how to pay post-paid mobile, broadband and electricity bills

Google has updated its Tez mobile payments app that brings support for bill payments, as it had promised.  It has support for over 90 billers, including national and state electricity providers, gas and water, and DTH recharge. Some of them include billers like Reliance Energy, BSES and DishTV, and Google says that it will cover all states and major metros in India.

Google investigating Pixel 2 XL slow rapid charging in low battery temperatures

Users of Google Pixel 2 XL have started reporting the slow battery charging speeds despite the phone showing the “Charging rapidly” notification. AndroidPolice in their testing has concluded that “rapid charging” isn’t always an accurate statement as the phone in low temperatures the phone starts charging at less than 4W. Google Chrome will block annoying video ads starting from Thursday, February 15

With an aim to improve web-experience, Google today announced that starting from February 15, it will block or stop showing all ads on sites that repeatedly display these most disruptive ads after they’ve been flagged. Google is testing ‘Reply’ app to bring smart replies to messaging apps

These automated replies will guess what you might reply to the message and adds a button to send that response. While this feature is limited to messaging apps like Allo and Android Messages, Google is now said to be working on bringing this feature to other chat applications.
