BlackBerry Classic launched in India for Rs. 31990

BlackBerry has launched the BlackBerry Classic, their latest smartphone with a full QWERTY physical keyboard in India. It comes with a 3.5-inch (720 x 720 pixels) touch screen display at 294 PPI pixel density and is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor.  It has a 35-key QWERTY physical backlit keyboard with wider layout and larger sculpted keys and navigation keys. BlackBerry has partnered with Snapdeal to launch the smartphone. The BlackBerry Classic has already launched in the UK with Vodafone, Selfridges and BlackBerry Direct and now retailer Carphone Warehouse has announced it is stocking the handset from today. The retailer has the handset available on a range of contracts starting at just £26.50 per month and is also selling the handset for £329.99 SIM free. BlackBerry launched the BlackBerry Classic smartphone in the US at an event couple of weeks back. We ordered one from the US for $449 when it went on pre-order last month. The BlackBerry Classic was originally introduced as BlackBerry Q20 at the MWC 2014 earlier this year. As a successor of the Q10, the Classic has a slightly larger 3.5-inch display, which is currently the largest display on a QWERTY BlackBerry smartphone. Check out the unboxing.

BlackBerry Classic headed to Vodafone, O2 and EE in the UK

The new BlackBerry Classic smartphone will be available in the UK next month as networks Vodafone, O2 and EE have confirmed they will range the handset. All three networks will offer the BlackBerry Classic to business customers but rival network Three, who focuses on consumer connections only, will not be stocking the Classic.

BlackBerry just launched the BlackBerry Classic, their latest smartphone with a full QWERTY physical keyboard at an event in New York. It comes with a 3.5-inch (720 x 720 pixels) touch screen display at 294 PPI pixel density. This is the largest ever on a BlackBerry QWERTY smartphone, larger than the BlackBerry Q10 that was launched last year. It has a 35-key QWERTY physical backlit keyboard with wider layout and larger sculpted keys and navigation keys. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, packs a 2GB RAM, 16GB of inbuilt memory and supports microSD cards up to 128GB. Canada loans Vodafone $850 million to boost BlackBerry sales

Canada is backing the continued growth and existence of BlackBerry with a large 5-year $850 million loan to British communications giant Vodafone Group. Under the terms of the agreement, Vodafone will use $750 million to purchase equipment and services produced by BlackBerry and the other $100 million with smaller Canadian companies. Today the company has started taking pre-orders for White and Limited Edition Red color variants of the smartphone. To remind you, the BlackBerry Passport has a 4.5” diagonal (1440 x 1440 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, 2.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 (MSM8974-AA) processor with 450MHz Adreno 330 GPU and runs on BlackBerry OS 10.3.
