Asus has launched a festive offer for its Fonepad 7 Dual SIM tablet. Under the offer, Asus is giving a free stand over worth Rs 1,599 with the purchase of the tablet. Announced at the MWC 2014 earlier this year, Asus Padfone 7 sports a a 7-inch (1280 x 800) HD LED Backlit IPS display.

Back in July Asus announced that the combined sales of the Zenfone series reached 40,000 in just four days after the launch. Asus has unveiled the VivoTab 8, the company’s latest 8-inch Windows 8.1 tablet. Asus unveiled a 8-inch Windows 8 tablet called VivoTab Note 8 with a similar 8-inch HD display earlier this year at the CES, but the this doesn’t have a Wacom Digitizer Stylus like the VivoTab Note 8. The processor has been upgraded to 1.86GHz quad-core 64-bit Intel Atom Z3745 chip, compared to the Atom Z3740 on the VivoTab Note 8. It is 8.8mm and weighs 330 grams. Asus has announced MeMO Pad 7 (ME572C) at IFA 2014, successor of MeMO Pad 7 ME176C that was announced at Computex 2014 in Taipei. It has a 7-inch (1920 x 1200) Full HD IPS multi-touch display with 323 ppi, powered by a 1.86GHz quad-core 64-bit Intel Atom Z3560 processor with PowerVR G6430 GPU and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with ZenUI on top. It has a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It has Asus SonicMaster Audio Technology and dual Stereo Speakers for enhanced audio output. After teasing its upcoming smartwatch in images, Asus has released a teaser video for its first Android wear smartwatch that would be unveiled at IFA on September 3rd. Some scribblings on the teaser image revealed stainless steel frame and sexy curves. Asus launched the Zenfone 4 (A450CG) for Rs. 6,999 along with the Zenfone 4 (A400CG) last month. The Zenfone 4 A450CG is now available for pre-order on Flipkart, as Asus promised few days back. Update: New teaser from Asus, confirms that it’s going launch their smartwatch at IFA. Scribbled writings in the image reveals that it would have a stainless steel frame, polish as mirrors and sexy curves.
Asus has started teasing its upcoming announcement at the IFA 2014, slated for September 3rd. The first teaser shows a device with curved edges along with the quote “Time has been transformed, and we have changed” by Khalil Gibran that hints at its first Android Wear smartwatch. Earlier this month Asus stocked 10,000 Zenfone 5 units on Flipkart, after it went out of stock in four days after the launch. It went out of stock again. Now the company has announced that Zenfone 5 would be back on stock on Flipkart with 20,000 units available for sale starting this Monday, August 18, 2014. Asus has released the Android 4.4 (KitKat) update for the Padfone Infinity (A80) and the Fonepad Note 6 (ME560CG). It rolled out the Kitkat update for the Padfone 2 last month. The KitKat update also brings Asus ZenUI with a new user interface for these devices. The ZenUi brings clean layout, flat icons, new color themes, animations, new ringtone and notification tones.
