Asus Zenfone Go appeared on the official Asus India website and Flipkart last month. Today the company has launched the smartphone in the country. The Zenfone Go packs a 5-inch HD display, is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6580 SoC and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop). Asus introduced the Lolliflash selfie flash and ZenEars earphones at the Zenfone 2 launch event in India back in April along with the ZenPower power bank. Today the company has announced that both these accessories are now available in India. The Lolliflash is a dual LED flash that connects to the smartphone’s 3.5mm audio jack. The Asus ZenFone 2 debuted at MWC 2015 in March and was available for purchase in the Indian market in April. As the successor to the Zenfone 4, 5 and 6, the Zenfone 2 is available in both 5 inch as well as 5.5 inch variants. In this comparison we will be taking a look at the 5.5” Zenfone 2 (ZE551ML) variant which is also the first smartphone to feature 4GB of RAM on board. Asus started taking pre-orders for the Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5 on Flipkart in India from August 19th, which was supposed to go on sale from mid-September. Today the company has announced that it has advanced the sales of the smartphone on Flipkart, which is now available for purchase starting from today. Asus recently announced that it received 30,000 pre-orders for its new Zenfone lineup, soon after the pre-order, and the Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5 received 10,000 pre-orders on the third day of the pre-order.

Asus showcased a 26800mAh Power Bank at the IFA, even though it did not officially introduce it at its event. We got to check out the power bank, which is bigger and heavier than Xiaomi’s 16000mAh Powerbank that was launched in India earlier this year.

Asus has announced a new router at IFA in Berlin. The new product from the Taiwanese manufacturer carries the model number RT-AC5300 and according to the company, the router delivers the world’s fastest Wi-Fi speed.
