Asus launched the Zenfone 3 Ultra and Zenfone 3 Deluxe smartphones at the Z3nvolution event in India back in August. Today the company has announced that both these smartphones are available in the country. The Zenfone 3 Ultra has a 6.8-inch 1080p display with 79% Screen to Body Ratio and is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 652 processor. The Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe has a 5.7-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display and is powered by Snapdragon 820 / 821 SoC with 6GB of RAM.
ASUS launched the Zefone 3 Max smartphone in two variants in India earlier this month starting at Rs. 12999. Asus has announced ZenPad Z10 (ZT500KL), the company’s latest tablet for US operator Verizon Wireless, which is a larger version of the ZenPad Z8 that was introduced back in June. It has a 9.7-inch QXGA display, is powered an hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 SoC and runs on Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) with ZenUI on top. The Zenfone series of phones by Asus have enjoyed an enviable position. A well priced device with well-balanced specifications guaranteed that the first generation was a runaway success. Asus replicated this to a degree with the myriad variants of the Zenfone 2. With the Zenfone 3, the Taiwanese company is taking a very different approach to things.
