ASUS just introduced the ROG Phone 5, the company’s latest gaming smartphone in India, as it had promised. It packs a 6.78-inch Full HD+ Samsung’s E4 AMOLED HDR display with 144Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch-sampling rate, 24.3ms touch latency, is one of the first phones to be powered by Snapdragon 888 SoC in India with up to 18GB of RAM.
The ASUS TUF series of gaming laptops are well known for the strong build and good price-to-performance ratio. The company just announced the TUF Dash F15 gaming laptop in India, featuring an 11th gen Intel Core i7-11370H processor, up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 GPU, high refresh display options up to 240Hz and more.
Last week ASUS confirmed that ROG Phone 5 will be introduced on March 10th in a global event. Today it has confirmed the launch of the phone in India alongside at 4:15PM IST just like it did for the ROG Phone 3 last year. As usual, the phone will be sold on Flipkart. ASUS has launched two new gaming focused ROG Strix desktops for Indian consumers, called the Strix GA35 and Strix GT35. The desktops feature flagship processors from AMD and Intel, along with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 graphics card.
ASUS has had a reasonable amount of success in the smartphone market with their ROG Phone line and ZenFone line of phones. According to a new report by DigiTimes, ASUS is planning to release a compact smartphone in the ZenFone line, called the ZenFone Mini.

After live images that surfaced recently, the upcoming ASUS ROG Phone 5 with the model number ASUS_I005DA has been certified by MIIT and TENAA that reveals the design of the smartphone and some specifications. On the bottom-left part of the back there is a dot matrix Aura Lighting that shows the ROG logo, but it should be customizable using the software. A similar dot matrix design was seen in Lightning Armor case that was launched with the ROG Phone 3. With the launch of AMD’s new 5000 series mobile GPUs and NVIDIA’s new RTX 30-series mobile GPUs, ASUS has announced 3 new laptops powered by them. These include the ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 SE, the ROG Strix SCAR 17 and the ROG Flow X13, and they announced the XG Mobile which is an external GPU with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 GPU inside.
ASUS introduced the Zenfone 6 last year running Android 9.0 (Pie) with ZenUI 6. It got the Android 10 update by the end of the year. Now it has started receiving Android 11 stable update starting from Taiwan after beta testing that started back in September. ASUS India has announced new updates to their consumer lineup of Zenbook and VivoBook laptops, bringing the latest 11th Gen Intel Core CPUs and offering both the Intel Xe GPU options or up to NVIDIA GeForce MX450 GPU. ASUS also launched an Intel Evo verified flagship — the Zenbook Flip S, which is their lightest laptop with a 4K UHD NanoEdge OLED HDR display.
ASUS is well known in the gaming laptop space, with many popular devices in the ROG and TUF series. While their VivoBook series traditionally is meant for casual usage, both for students and working professionals, ASUS always releases a gaming variant in the VivoBook series, to give their users a laptop that can be used for regular work along with some casual gaming. The latest in the VivoBook series features up to a 10th Gen Core i7 processor which is great for everyday tasks and it is complimented with up to an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650Ti GPU, which is another great entry level mobile GPU.
