Amazon Prime Music launched in India, free for Amazon Prime users on Android, iOS and web

Amazon has finally launched Amazon Prime Music service in India. It was introduced last year exclusively for Echo devices in the country. It is available for Android and iOS devices and is also available on the web at music.amazon.in. There is also a Desktop app and is available on Amazon Fire TV sticks apart from Amazon Echo devices. As the company had announced previously, the service is free for Prime customers since it is included in their package, and is also ad-free. A week after updating the Kindle app, Amazon has released Kindle Lite app for Android in Beta for low-end Android smartphones. Amazon says that the app has been crafted specially for Indian readers. The app is less than 2MB in size so takes significantly less space on the smartphone, works smoothly even on 2G networks and lets you monitor your data usage and manage storage.
