Alcatel has announced A7, A7 Plus in the ‘A series’ and Idol 5 smartphone in the ‘Idol series’ at the IFA 2017. The A7 XL has 12-megapixel rear camera with secondary 2-megapixel camera to capture depth information and has a 6-inch 1080p screen. Both the A7 and and A7 XL have a 4000mAh battery with support for fast charging. The Idol 5 is a cheaper version of the Idol 5S that was introduced in the U.S. back in June. Alcatel has announced Idol 5S, A30 Plus and A50 smartphones in the U.S. The Idol 5S is a mid-range phone with a 5.2-inch 1080p screen, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 Mobile Platform and runs on Android 7.1 (Nougat). Both the A30 Plus and A50 are powered by MediaTek SoCs, run Android 7.0 (Nougat) and come with a HD screen. Alcatel has announced Flash, a new smartphone with four cameras, two on the front and two on the back. It has dual 13-megapixel rear cameras, one with monochrome and the other one with RGB lens to capture crisp images as well as background blur. It also has phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF) for quick focus in 0.15 seconds and dual-tone LED flash. There is also a 8-megapixel + 5-megapixel front-facing cameras along with dual-tone LED flash that lets you choose different blur levels with Super Selfie Mode.
