Microsoft has updated its Fresh Paint app to version 1.0.3255.1 that brings support to Windows Phone 8 devices with 512 MB RAM. Microsoft launched the Fresh Paint, a free digital painting app last month. The app was originally released for Windows 8 . Yahoo! released a new Yahoo! Weather app for iPhone back in April. Now the new weather app is available for Android as an update. This brings lot of new features including weather information and forecasts along with photos that match your location, Interactive radar, satellite, heat, and wind map. It also has new home screen widgets. You can swipe vertically for detailed weather information and swipe horizontally for favorite locations.

SwiftKey Cloud Beta updated with bug fixes and improvements

SwiftKey released v4.2 Cloud Beta few weeks back with backup and sync and trending phrases feature. Now the company has released an update to the app that brings lot of improvements and bug fixes. These fixes includes better responsiveness for flow predictions, crash fixes in cloud preference and Gmail personalization and lots more. Even though there are lot of fixes, it also has some known issues, which would eventually be fixed in the final release. This update also brings three new vehicles, new battle gear for Jason and a new three-tier weapon. Gangstar Vegas for iOS and Android was released back in June. Instagram v4.1 for Android and iPhone brings option to import video from library

Instagram for Android and iPhone got a huge update back in June that brought video support. Last month Instagram for iPhone was updated with landscape mode. Now version 4.1 update for both the Android and iPhone brings option to import your videos from the phone library, just like you do for photos. You get a new library icon next to the video to import videos, however it supports only selected video formats. This update also brings video recording support for ICS devices and automatic straightening for iPhone that corrects the photo when you  tap the new Straighten icon. The straightening tool also includes a slider to rotate and adjust any photo. Flipkart eBooks app is now available for iPhone, iPad and Windows Phone 8 devices. Flipkart launched eBooks services called Flyte back in November last year and launched their Android app along with that. Eventually Flipkart lost the Flyte branding and also shut down the music store recently. The eBooks app for these new platforms offer similar features as the Android app, including, option to preview books to purchase, offline support and personalized reading experience.
