ColorOS 12 based on Android 12 global roll out begins this October – List of OPPO smartphones getting it

OPPO today launched the ColorOS 12, the next major update based on Android 12 for its smartphone in an online event, as it had announced. OPPO said that ColorOS 6 was pushed to 65 million users, 100 million users got ColorOS 7, and last year’s ColorOS 11 was pushed to 115 million users, and this year the company is aiming even higher for the ColorOS 12. It said that there are over 440 million ColorOS users worldwide in 68 countries as of July 2021 which is 19% YoY growth from 2020. OPPO promises 3 Android updates for Find X series; 2 updates for Reno and F series

Earlier today, OPPO confirmed the ColorOS 12 global version will launch in an online event on October 11th where it will confirm rollout timeline of ColorOS 12. realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12 to launch on October 13

realme has confirmed that it will launch realme UI 3.0, the next major OS update based on Android 12 will be introduced globally on October 13, a couple of days after the launch of OPPO’s ColorOS 12. We still don’t have the list of features, but we can expect design changes for icons, wallpapers, and layouts, and new functions related to media output and navigation. OPPO launched the ColorOS 12 in China last month, and the company said that it will launch globally in October. Today, it has confirmed the global launch of ColorOS 12 will happen on October 11th. OxygenOS 12 open beta released for OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro — Check out the new features

OnePlus has released OxygenOS 12, the company’s next-generation OS based on Android 12, soon after Google released Android 12 AOSP build. This brings a new design with simplified visuals and more subtle gradients, Work Life Balance is now available globally, and the WBL 2.0 now supports automatic Work/Life mode switching, based on specific locations, Wi-Fi network, and time. Xiaomi announces Android 12 Stable testing program for Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11 and Mi 11i

It’s that time of the year, again! Android 12 Stable release for Pixel devices is just around the corner, and Android OEMs have started announcing the next iterations of their proprietary UI. Earlier this month, OPPO announced ColorOS 12, and also released a detailed roll-out plan for OPPO and OnePlus devices. Now, Xiaomi has gone a step ahead, and announced the Android 12 Stable testing program for Mi 11 series devices.

Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G update brings RAM expansion and camera improvements

Samsung launched the Galaxy A52s 5G in India earlier this month. Now it has received its first software update after the launch that brings RAM Plus feature, which is the RAM expansion technology, which uses the internal memory of the phone to expand the RAM by 4GB, in addition to the existing 8GB of RAM that the phone already has. Lava Z2, Z4, Z6, and MyZ Android 11 roll out details revealed

Lava launched its new Z series smartphones including myZ phone with customizable specs earlier this year running Android 10.
