Uber has raised a whopping $3.5 billion in funding from Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund. As a result of the investment, Public Investment Fund managing director Yasir Al Rumayyan will join Uber’s board.

Earlier today, Xiaomi announced that it has sold more than 70 million smartphones during 2015 which is 10 million units shorter of it’s 80 million target. The Chinese smartphone maker has now expanded its operations to UAE.
