OnePlus 6 launched in India starting at Rs. 34999

OnePlus announced its flagship OnePlus 6 smartphone at an event in London yesterday, now the company has launched it in India, as it had promised. It has a 6.29-inch Optic AMOLED display with a notch, about 84% screen-to-body ratio and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It is powered by Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform with up to 8GB of RAM. It runs Android 8.1 (Oreo) with OxygenOS 5.1, and the company already promised that it will get Android P beta starting this week

OnePlus 6 with 6.28-inch FHD+ AMOLED 19:9 display, Snapdragon 845, 8GB RAM, dual rear cameras announced starting at $529

OnePlus just announced its flagship OnePlus 6 smartphone at an event in London, as it had promised. It has a 6.29-inch Optic AMOLED display with a notch, about 84% screen-to-body ratio and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It is powered by Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform with up to 8GB of RAM. It has a 16-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX519 sensor, f/1.7 aperture, OIS as well as EIS. The sensor is 19% bigger compared to the predecessor. It has the same 20-megapixel secondary camera with Sony IMX376K sensor and f/1.7 aperture, same as 5T for portrait shots and 2x zoom. Even the front camera uses the same 16-megapixel Sony IMX 371 sensor as the 5T. The company has promised portrait mode for the front camera through software update. Yesterday OnePlus announced several launch offers for its upcoming OnePlus 6 flagship smartphone, including Rs. 2,000 cash back and device insurance for Idea subscribers. Today Idea Cellular has details the offers. The Rs. 2,000 (in the form of discount of Rs. 100/month for 20 billing cycles) cashback will be available for post-paid customers on OnePlus 6 and they also get 10 GB/month additional data for 20 months on the Nirvana 499 Plan, which will effectively make the plan Rs. 399. The plan also covers device security for 4 months along with Digital Idea content services – music, movies and game for free.

OnePlus 6 Midnight Black and Mirror Black press images, price surface, could feature OIS and water-resistant body

OnePlus 6 all set to go official in a couple of days. Now the official images of the smartphone has surfaced on Amazon Germany that reveals Midnight Black and Mirror Black versions along with the price. This clearly shows the notch, small bezel below the display, metal frame and a glass back for the Mirror Black version and the Midnight Black is said to come with smooth matte finish. Amazon listing also reveals OIS and water-resistant body, but it is not clear if it will be just nano coating like the Moto phones of it will have IP certification.

OnePlus 6 in Black and White colors surfaces in live image, super slo-mo camera teased

OnePlus is all set to launch its flagship OnePlus 6 smartphone next week and entry vouchers to attend the event will be available via oneplus.in from 10:00 am today. Announcing this OnePlus Star Amitabh Bachchan tweeted couple of images with the OnePlus CEO Pete Lau, and both were holding the phone. This shows the phone in Black and White colors, and a familiar design with a glass back and metal frame that we had seen in case renders and live image. It looks like the white version will have a smooth matte finish, something similar to OnePlus 5T’s Sandstone White.

OnePlus 6 has finally been certified by TENAA in China, couple of weeks before the announcement. We don’t have the image yet, but all the specifications of the smartphone have been listed. This is the 6GB RAM with 64GB storage version, but there will also be a 8GB RAM and 256GB storage version, as the company had already confirmed. OnePlus 6 with metal frame, repositioned alert slider teased in first official image

OnePlus has finally released the first image of its upcoming OnePlus 6 smartphone that shows the side frame of the phone. The OnePlus 5T is placed on top of the OnePlus 6 that shows that the successor will have a similar size. It shows a new antenna teasing unlike the warp-around design in the 5T. The SIM slot and volume rockers are on the left side of the phone, which coincides with earlier leak. The three-step slider has been moved to the other side, as revealed in an earlier image showing the notch.
