Facebook reported strong third-quarter for 2017 and topped the expectations of Wall Street. The company estimates around 1.37 billion daily active users on average for September 2017 which is an increase of 16% year-over-year.

After rolling out Halloween inspired stickers and live filters to Instagram, Facebook and Messenger apps are now updated and themed to fit the Halloween theme best. The new update brings dozens of Halloween-themed masks, frames and stickers.
One year after the launch, Facebook’s Workplace for Desktop, Android, and iOS gets updated with new design, look and feel of the platform, easy navigation and better conversations that will make the Workplace much easier to use.
Facebook’s Messenger app is one the most widely used chat application all over the world. Further to better the app, the company last year has introduced the Instant Games for Messenger with over 20 games from several developers at the time of launch which later was gradually increased and gave more features to developers to build flexible, rich gameplay experience. It introduced ads in Messenger app back a few months back.

Facebook has now forayed into the food delivery space. The social network is now bringing the ability for users to order food for pick-up or delivery, directly on Facebook. Facebook has secretly launched a new photo-sharing app dubbed as Colorful Balloons in China. The largest social network with over 2 billion monthly active users has been blocked in China since 2009. According to a report from the New York Times, the app was published by a company named “Youge Internet Technology” in China’s App Store and early users are not able to easily share the app with outsiders.
