The company at WWDC 2016 announced that the last generation of Apple TV had 80 video channels and now it has over 1300 video channels. The Indian Government has officially rejected Apple’s proposal to sell refurbished iPhones in India, as per a latest PTI report. A report earlier this month had cited a telecom ministry official over the rejection of Apple’s plan on refurbished phones. However, this time the Commerce Ministery has revealed that it is not in favour of Apple’s plans.

In a huge blow to its expansion plans in India, the government has rejected Apple’s plea of exempting the 30% local sourcing norm to open retail stores in the country. Finance Minister Arun Jaitley decided to support the decision by India’s Foreign Investment Promotion Board regarding the 30% of local sourcing.
Apple is refreshing MacBook lineup for 2016, according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo at KGI Securities. The laptops are set to come in 13-inch and 15-inch models and sport a thinner and lighter design.
