Twitter reports $909 million revenue, 24% YoY growth and 126 million monetizable daily active users in Q4 2018

Twitter, Inc. has announced financial results for its fourth quarter of 2018 which had total revenue of $909 million, an increase of 24% year-over-year. The company’s advertising revenue totaled $791 million, an increase of 23% year-over-year. Twitter’s total ad engagements increased 33% year-over-year and the cost per engagement decreased 7% year-over-year.

Twitter revokes API access of three notification spammer apps that sell fake followers

Twitter has announced that it is stepping up its fight against notification spammer as the functionality of three of these services — ManageFlitter, Statusbrew, Crowdfire stopped functioning. Twitter has confirmed its actions and said that these three apps for having repeatedly violated the API rules.
