Uber, a technology company in the Silicon Valley of US, is expanding its cab rides service globally and the latest addition to their list of cities is India’s capital – New Delhi. Delhi will be Uber’s second city in India after Bangalore and they are expecting that it will be their biggest market in the country.Uber is available as an Android and iOS app. By using Uber, users can request a ride and they will be picked up within minutes. Intex launched the Aqua i4 and Aqua HD last month, now two new smartphones, Cloud X5 from the Cloud series and Aqua N2 in the Aqua series has surfaced on the official website. The Cloud X5 is the successor of the Cloud X4, but it lacks 3G support present in the Cloud X4. Other features are almost similar including a 3.5-inch (480 x 320 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, 1 GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572 processor. The Intex Aqua N2 has a 4.0-inch (800 ×480 pixels) WVGA capacitive touch screen display and is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor. Advantage Computers India (Adcom) has launched new smartphones, A-350i and A-400i in the Adcom Thunder Smart Phone Series. The company launched 6 new smartphones, A-530 HD, A-500, A-450, A-430, A-400, A-350 in the Adcom Thunder Smart Phone Series back in May. The A-350i is an entry-level smartphone that has a 3.5-inch HVGA screen and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). The A400i has a 4-inch HVGA display and runs on Android 4.0 (ICS). Both these smartphones are powered by a 1 GHz processor and have dual SIM support with dual standby. Microsoft has updated the Bing Weather app for Windows Phone 8 to version 2.0.2.170 that brings a lot of new features including current snow and weather conditions at ski resorts around the world, weather history, revamped live tiles info that now displays current conditions, wind-speed, and precipitation—with a 5-day forecast. Zen launched the Ultrafone 501 earlier this year, now its successor, the Ultrafone 502 is available in India from online retailer Snapdeal. It comes with a with a 4.5-inch (960 x 540 pixels) capacitive touch screen IPS display, powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. Deepak Mehrotra, CEO of Micromax India has quit to join Pearson as the new Managing Director for its India business, reports The Hindu Business Line. Deepak joined Micromax back in December 2011 as the Chief Executive Officer. It was announced last year and was launched in India back in June at a price of Rs. Rs. 21,999 and Rs. 25,999 for the 16GB and 32GB variants respectively . Micromax has announced that they have singed up Hollywood star Hugh Jackman as its brand ambassador. Micromax has also teased their upcoming smartphone, the Canvas Turbo in a video, which would be launched soon. He will also be seen endorsing Canvas series of smartphones for Micromax. Samsung has started rolling out the Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) update for the Galaxy S4 LTE variant (GT-I9505) starting from Germany as reported by SamMobile. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is the first non-Nexus device to run on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) out of the box, and the Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Play Edition got the Android 4.3 update back in August. At the Note 3 announcement Samsung promised the Android 4.3 update for the Galaxy S4 in October, and it has rolled out the update as promised.
