Twitter gets improved search filters on the web version

Twitter had recently updated its iOS app with improved photo editing capabilities and more; now the company has rolled out a few changes to the web version of their application. Twitter gets a new advanced and improved search that has new search filters letting you restrict your searches to photos, videos, news, people you follow, and nearby locations.

One of the biggest advantages of this improvement is that, with the ability to limit a search to people only you follow, you can easily search for something that you lost in your timeline sometime back. The aforementioned ability is basically the ability to search through your timeline. The introduction of this feature now makes you wonder where has this been all this years.

This information comes courtesy of a tweet from Twitter’s official Twitter account. The new filters are available in India right now and the old ones just let you search for photos or people.

The web is probably the least of the company’s priority as the official iOS and Android Twitter apps had the advanced search since November.
