The advent of self-portraits or “selfies” as they are commonly known and the ever-increasing popularity of social media has resulted in the rise of smartphones that are specifically designed to cater to this particular demographic. The primary emphasis as a result becomes the front facing camera which ironically has always been refered to as the secondary camera. Gionee A1 with 16MP front camera, Android 7.0 live images surface ahead of MWC 2017

Gionee yesterday sent out invites for the global launch event of A1 and A1 Plus smartphones at the MWC 2017 in Barcelona on February 27th. Now live images of the smartphone has surfaced in Nepal. This coincides with earlier rumors that confirms 5.5-inch 1080p 2.5d curved glass display, 16-megapixel front-facing camera, Android 7.0 (Nougat) and more.
