Xiaomi announced MIUI last month along with the Mi 5X smartphone. After closed beta for Mi 6 and Redmi Note 4X (Qualcomm) in China on July 27th, it released the public beta of China ROM for Mi 6, Mi 5X, and Redmi Note 4X (Qualcomm) on August 11th. As it had promised, in the second batch, it has released the ROM for 9 more smartphones last week.

Lenovo launched the K8 Note smartphone in India with dual rear cameras starting at Rs. 12,999. We already brought you the unboxing of the phone, here we have the camera samples from the phone. The phone packs a 13MP rear camera with PureCel Plus OV13855 sensor, dual-tone LED Flash along with a secondary 5MP camera with S5K5E2 sensor to capture depth information. It has a 13-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, wide-angle lens and soft LED flash.

After teasing the launch of new smartphone with dual rear cameras in India in September, Xiaomi today sent of invites for the launch of the smartphone in the country on September 5th at an event in New Delhi. The company says it will be Flagship Dual Camera smartphone, but it did not reveal the name of the phone yet. This will likely be the Mi 5X that was introduced in China last month.

Last year’s LG V20 was the first phone to feature 32 bit Quad DAC for audio and the G6 has a similar DAC. Today LG has announced that the V30 will feature 32-bit Advanced Hi-Fi Quad DAC powered by ESS Technology’s SABRE ES9218P. The Hi-Fi Quad DAC now gets two new features: digital filters and sound presets. The original Hi-Fi Quad DAC emphasized delivering Hi-Fi sound as close as possible to the original source by minimizing distortion and white noise, Advanced Hi-Fi Quad DAC offers more customizable options.

Vivo has launched Y69, the company’s latest mid-range selfie-focused smartphone with a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with soft flash in India. It packs a 5.5-inch HD 2.5d curved glass display, is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek MT6750 processor and a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, similar to the Y66 that was launched earlier this year, but this runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat) and has a fingerprint sensor on the front. LG unveiled Q8, a smaller version of the V20 smartphone last month in Italy. Today the company launched the phone in Korea and revealed the price of the phone. It has a 5.2-inch Quad HD screen along with a 2.1 (160 x 1040 pixels) second screen. It has a 16MP rear camera with 78-degree lens along with a secondary 8MP secondary camera with 135-degree wide-angle lens.
