LG Display doubles large-size OLED Panel sales in H1 2018, crosses 1.3 million units

LG Display today announced today that its global sales of large-size OLED panels has crossed 1.3 million units in the first half of 2018, more than double the sales of 0.6 million units of large-size OLED panels in the first half of 2017. The company expects to sell more than 2.9 million units of large-size OLED panels this year compared to 200,000 units in 2013 and 1.7 million units in 2017. ARM unveils CPU roadmap for 2019 – Deimos and Hercules Cores with 7nm and 5nm nodes incoming

Twitter explains why it is ending support for outdated legacy APIs and developer tools

Twitter today announced that it is ending support for some outdated developer tools, after killing off the support for Twitter for Apple Watch and Twitter for Mac. In order to prioritize making the user experiences great, the company has decided to stop investing in other products including two legacy developer tools used by about 1% of third-party developers. OPPO R17 Pro with triple rear cameras, OIS, f1.5/f2.4 variable aperture teased in video

OPPO R17 Pro recently surfaced in an image that revealed triple rear cameras, now the company has officially confirmed it in a new video teaser. All the cameras are arranged vertically and the dual LED flash is present below that. The company also confirmed gradient back with 3D glass that shows a S-shaped curve when the light hits. It also offers matte finish, just like the one of the OnePlus 6.

OnePlus 6 OxygenOS 5.1.11 update brings screen flickering issue fix, HDR improvements and more

OnePlus has started rolling out OxygenOS 5.1.11 update for the OnePlus 6, a month after it rolled out the 5.1.9 update  that brought several new features including Google Lens integration. The latest update fixes screen flickering issue in daylight, as it had promised earlier, network and Wi-Fi optimization and also improves HDR mode in camera. UPI 2.0 launched – Link Over-draft account, QR code payment, Block payment and more

National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has finally launched Unified Payments Interface (UPI) 2.0 with new and upgraded features in an aim to ease the digital transaction for users, after a delay of several months. This includes one time mandate with block functionality, option to link Over-Draft (OD) account, Invoice in the Inbox, Signed Intent / QR and it has finally increased the UPI per transaction cap to 2 lakh.
