Apple’s 2021 Mac lineup may have ARM-based processors, USB4 support in 2020

For a few years, many analysts have predicted that Apple is working towards releasing an ARM-based version of their popular Mac devices, considering how powerful its ‘A series’ SoCs have become. Now, well known Apple analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo has noted that 2020 Macs from later on may finally have Apple’s in-house ARM based processors powering it.

Xiaomi Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 with Bluetooth 5.0, dual microphones for noise cancellation announced

Along with the new Mi 10 series smartphones, Xiaomi also introduced the Mi True Wireless Earphones  2, which is the global version of the Mi AirDots Pro 2 which was introduced in China back in September last year. It comes with Bluetooth 5.0 and LDHC Hi-Res audio codec, smart voice controls, dual microphones for ENC, which is environmental noise cancellation. It also has 14.2mm drivers for better audio output. It automatically connects with the phone running MIUI when you open the case and pick up the earphones. iOS VPN vulnerability leaves user network traffic exposed

The folks over at ProtonVPN have discovered a vulnerability in iOS 13.4 (exists since 13.3.1) which will prevent VPN’s from encrypting all traffic that is going through the user’s iPhone, causing some internet connections to bypass the VPN server and thus possibly exposing the user to data leaks and attacks.

HUAWEI P40 Pro and P40 Pro+ with 6.58-inch Flex OLED 90Hz display, Ultra Vision Leica cameras and P40 announced

HUAWEI today announced its flagship P40, P40 Pro and P40 Pro+ smartphones in an online event as it had promised.  The P40 has a 6.1-inch FHD+ Flex OLED screen with 3.48mm, 4.47mm and 3mm ultra narrow borders on the top, bottom and sides, respectively. The P40 Pro and Pro+ feature 6.58-inch FHD+ Flex OLED Quad-curve Overflow Display with 2.65mm, 3.35mm and 1.71mm ultra narrow borders on the top, bottom and sides, respectively. These are powered by Kirin 990 and Kirin 990 5G  7nm SoCs with dedicated NPUs and run Android 10 with EMUI 10.0 on top with HMS. These have in-display fingerprint scanner that are 30% faster compared to the predecessor.
