ZTE at its event introduced new S30 series of smartphones that includes S30 Pro, S30 and S30 SE. These look similar with a centre punch-hole screen, however, in the camera area, the two higher-end models use a combination of matte and glossy finish. The S30 SE also divides the camera into two segments with different look and feel, and there is a vertical stripe directly below the bottom of the camera. Mi Notebook Pro 15 with 3.5k OLED screen and Mi Notebook Pro 14 with 2.5k LCD 120Hz screen announced

Along with the Mi MIX Fold, Xiaomi also introduced its new Mi Notebook Pro series laptops in China. The Mi Notebook Pro 15 has a 15.6-inch 3.5k OLED screen with support for 60Hz refresh-rate, 3.6mm narrow frame and 93% screen-to-body ratio, and the Mi Notebook Pro 14 has 2.5k LCD 120Hz  high refresh rate screen with 4.3mm narrow frame and 88% screen-to-body ratio. These are powered by 11th Generation Intel Core i7 and i5 Tiger Lake processors with up to NVIDIA MX450 GPU. Apple schedules virtual WWDC 2021 for June 7

Apple has announced that the virtual WWDC 2021 conference will begin June 7 and go on till June 11th. Usually it costs US$ 1599 to attend the event, this it will be streamed live through Apple Developer app and on the Apple Developer website for all, similar to last year’s WWDC. Xiaomi just announced the Mi MIX Fold, the company’s latest foldable smartphone at the second day of its launch event. It packs an 8.01” WQHD+ resolution flexible internal display with WQHD+ resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, 120Hz touch sampling rate, 900nits peak brightness and MEMC and a  6.52-inch external AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate. Samsung Neo QLED 8K TVs and LG 8KOLED TV and QNED TVs receive Wi-Fi 6E certification

In the world of wireless connectivity, the Wi-Fi 6E standard is quite new. Samsung and LG, two of the world’s leading manufacturer of TVs, has announced that their 2021 premium TVs have received official Wi-Fi 6E certification from the Wi-Fi Alliance (WFA).

Often within the code of companion Android apps for wearable devices, there can reference to new and upcoming products ahead of their official launch. In the new Galaxy Wearable app’s APK from Samsung, there are references to a possible Galaxy Buds 2, suggesting that the device is in development.

The program is designed to help independent Apple service centers receive training and access to Apple genuine parts, tools and repair manuals.

POCO X3 Pro with 6.67-inch FHD+ 120Hz display, Snapdragon 860, up to 8GB RAM, 5160mAh battery launched in India starting at Rs. 18999

POCO just launched the POCO X3 Pro, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone as it had promised. It packs a 6.67-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with 3.8mm, punch-hole screen, 120Hz refresh rate with Dynamic switching between 120Hz, 90Hz, 60Hz or 50Hz and has 240Hz touch sampling rate, same as the X3, but comes with Corning Gorilla 6 protection. It is the first phone to be powered by Snapdragon 860 SoC that is clocked up to 2.96GHz, but it doesn’t have 5G support. The phone has up to 8GB of RAM, comes with liquid cooling 1.0 Plus with copper heat pipe and dual graphite to reduce the temperature by up to 6° C, and runs Android 11 with MIUI 12 on top.

Xiaomi Router AX9000 with Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax, up to 3.5Gbps theoretical download speed announced

At its mega launch event, Xiaomi also unveiled AX9000, the company’s new top-end Wi-Fi 6 router after it introduced the AX6000 model last year. It supports up to 9000Mbps combined wireless transmission speed, maximum theoretical download speed can reach 3.5Gbps, and a 5GHz frequency band can be completely reserved for e-sports use, avoiding bandwidth competition with other applications. This is powered by Qualcomm’s 6-core processor, and has 12 high-gain antennas (three on each side of the four-sided triangle) and 12 independent signal amplifiers. Samsung Galaxy Buds Live Long Term Review

Since Apple introduced the AirPods 1st gen back in 2016, the truly wireless earphones industry has grown significantly, with nearly every smartphone manufacturer offering their own TWS earbuds to go with their smartphones. After a long time, Samsung introduced the Galaxy Buds Live in 2020, featuring a new and unique form factor that caught everyone’s attention. The design was polarizing to say the least, and it was also the first truly wireless earbuds from Samsung to feature active noise cancellation.

Xiaomi Mi Smart Projector 2 Pro with up to 120-inch projection, HDR10, Android TV announced

At its global event, Xiaomi introduced the Mi Smart Projector 2 Pro features 1080p (1920 x 1080) FHD picture quality with an adjustable 60” to 120’’ screen size. It has a 0.47” DMD chip to reach a maximum brightness of 1300 ANSI lumens, has HDR10 support, comes with 10W built-in speakers with dual tweeters and dual full-range woofers, DTS-HD and Dolby Audio. The projector can also be used as a standalone speaker by enabling seamless connection to an audio source via Bluetooth. Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 6 with 1.56-inch AMOLED color touch display, 30 fitness modes, SpO2 monitoring announced

Xiaomi at its global event Xiaomi introduced the most expected Mi Smart Band 6, as it had promised. It features a 1.56-inch large full screen AMOLED touch display which Xiaomi says is a unique, running-track-shaped screen that offers 326PPI crystal-clear resolution and approximately 50% more screen space than its predecessor. Xiaomi Mi 11i with 6.67-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 888, 108MP triple rear cameras announced

Xiaomi today introduced the Mi 11i which is the global version of the Redmi K40 Pro+ which was s introduced in China last month. It packs a 6.67-inch E4 AMOLED screen with MEMC,  120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate, DCI-P3 color gamut, HDR10+, 8,192 levels of dimming and 2.76mm ultra-small punch-hole that houses a 20MP camera. It is powered by Snapdragon 888 5nm SoC with 8GB of RAM and has liquid-cooling 3D heat dissipation. Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G with 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED 90Hz display, Snapdragon 780G, 64MP triple rear cameras and Mi 11 Lite announced

Along with the Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra, Xiaomi also introduced the Mi 11 Lite and Mi 11 Lite 5G smartphones. These come with a 6.55-inch AMOLED DotDisplay with 1.88mm ultra-slim bezels on the top and sides, HDR10+ in 5G and HDR10 in 4G, 90Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The Mi 11 Lite  5G is the world’s first to be powered by Snapdragon 780G 5nm SoC and the 4G is powered by Snapdragon 732G. Both these support Liquid cooling.
