realme sold over 8.3 million devices during festive sales in India

realme today  announced that it has sold more than 8.3 million smartphones and AIoT products during realmeFestiveDays from October 15th to November 16th. Out of the total, 6.3 million were smartphones that includes 1.35 Million Narzo phones, 1.2+ Million C11 phones and 1.6 Million realme 7 series phones, witnessing a 20% growth compared to the festive season last year. OSOM by former Essential employees plans to release privacy-focused Android product in 2021

Essential, the company that introduced notches in the smartphone, is now no more. Founded by Android co-founder Andy Rubin, announced its closure earlier this year. The company’s only product, Essential Phone, sold poorly and received mixed reviews as well. Other promised devices operating system and home assistant never really materialised. OnePlus 8T Review

Keeping up with the tradition, OnePlus launched the ‘T’ version of the OnePlus 8 series in India a few weeks back. The OnePlus 8T is similarly spec’d as its predecessor, but, it carries few upgrades too – 65W charger, a 200mAh battery bump-up, 5MP macro camera, 2MP depth camera and 120Hz display.
