Xiaomi schedules MWC 2019 event on February 24, Mi MIX 3 5G expected [Update: Invite]

Update – February 13, 2019: Xiaomi has sent out invites for the February 24 event and has also teased it on social channels. The event starts at 10:30 AM CET (3PM IST). The invite doesn’t give any hint on what to expect. Earlier rumors revealed that the company will launch the Mi MIX 3 5G. It will also likely showcase the Mi 9 after it goes official February 20th.

How to switch between multiple eSIMs on iPhone XS and XS Max with iOS 12.1

When Apple announced support for Dual SIM functionality on the iPhone XS and XS Max, a lot of readers were asking if they would have more than one eSIM on a device. Turns out, you can have save several eSIMs to the iPhone XS and activate any one SIM at anytime. This is such an awesome feature which is only available on the iPhone XS at this point. On a recent trip, I managed to activate several eSIMs on my iPhone XS Max and it worked like a charm. I managed to also try a couple of eSIM based data roaming providers Gigsky and Truphone. JioRail app lets JioPhone, JioPhone 2 users book train tickets, check PNR status and more

Reliance Jio has launched JioRail app for JioPhone and JioPhone 2 users on the JioStore. The app lets you book or cancel train tickets, view train ticket history and also check PNR status. The app has minimal options, unlike the Android version of the app, and requires you to login using 4G or sign-in using your Jio account for verification.

Nokia 3.1 Plus and Nokia 2 V launched in the US on Cricket and Verizon

HMD Global has announced collaborations with three leading wireless providers in North America – Cricket Wireless and Verizon in the United States and Rogers Communications, Inc. in Canada. Facebook is shutting down Moments app on February 25th

LG MWC 2019 Premiere announced for February 24, LG G8 expected

LG has posted a teaser video on its social channels announcing its 2019 Premiere at the MWC 2019 in Barcelona on February 24th. The teaser says ‘Goodbye Touch’ hinting at gestures for the smartphone. As rumored earlier, we can expect the LG’s flagship G8 smartphone at the event.
