Google discontinues Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL ahead of Pixel 5 launch

Google introduced Pixel 4a earlier this week and also confirmed that Pixel 5 with 5G support will release later this year. Now the company has confirmed the discontinuation of the Pixel 4 series — Pixel 4 and 4 XL in less than a year of launch. Right now, both the smartphones are not available for sale in the official Google Store in the US. From now on, it will be available only through 3rd party retailers as remaining units sell-through. MediaTek has announced new partnership with Intel to bring 5G to next-generation Intel laptops with MediaTek T700 5G modem. MediaTek said that it has completed 5G standalone (SA) calls in real world test scenarios. Intel  is readying co-engineering support for its OEM partners, said the company. iQOO 5 with FHD+ 120Hz display, Snapdragon 865, 120W fast charging to be announced on August 17

iQOO today confirmed that it will come with 120W fast charging that will charge the phone up to 15 minutes. It has also confirmed Snapdragon 865, LDPPR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The teaser image shows single punch-hole curved screen, which will be a Full HD+ screen with 120Hz refresh rate.
