
Apple and Samsung are the top Smartphone vendors by shipments in Q4 2011 according to a report by Research Firm IDC (International Data Corporation). The worldwide smartphone market grew 54.7% year over year in Q4 2011. Shipment volumes reached 491.4 million units in 2011 that is up by 61.3% compared to 304.7 million units in 2010. Samsung confirms White Galaxy Nexus, coming to UK on February 13

Samsung has officially announced the White version of the Galaxy Nexus. Some online retailers in UK started taking pre-orders for the device early last month. This would come with same features of the black version such as 4.65-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD Super AMOLED, 5MP rear camera, 1.3MP front-facing camera, 1.2GHz dual core processor, NFC, 1GB RAM and HSPA+ connectivity. White Nokia Lumia 800 coming to Europe in February

Nokia Lumia 800 is now available in Black, Cyan and Pink, Nokia has announced that the Lumia 800 would be available in White later this month. The phone runs on Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango) and is powered by a 1.4Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor coupled with 512MB of RAM.
