Microsoft has sent out invites for the launch of Lumia 540 Dual SIM in India that was announced last month. The invite says Come. Meet us to welcome the newest member of the Microsoft Lumia family. It also has an image of the Lumia 540 Dual SIM in Cyan color. Microsoft already said that the smartphone will roll out first in India and other countries in Asia Pacific from early May 2015.

It has a 1.4 GHz Octa-Core MediaTek processor instead of 1.7 GHz Octa-Core SoC and has a 2400mAh battery, other specifications are similar to the Micromax Canvas Nitro A311, including a 5-inch HD display, 1.7 GHz octa-core MediaTek processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage with expansion slot, Android 4.4 (KitKat), 13-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

Asus launched the Zenfone 2 (ZE551ML) smartphone with 4GB of RAM in India last month starting at Rs. 19,999. The Zenfone 2 variant with 2GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage and Z23560 SoC was launched for Rs. 14,999.
