Wickedleak has launched Wammy Neo 3, the company’s latest smartphone with octa-core processor. It has a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080) Full HD OGS display with 76% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by a 1.7 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 64-bit processor and runs on Android 4.4 (Kitkat), which is upgradable to 5.1 (Lollipop). Samsung announced the Galaxy Grand Prime 4G for India back in February at the Samsung Forum 2015 in Bangkok. Samsung has finally started selling the smartphone in India through its official eStore. It packs a 5-inch qHD display, is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 SoC and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop). When we went hands-on with the smartphone it was running Android 4.4 (KitKat). It has an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

Motorola introduced the Moto X Play smartphone earlier this week. The company did not announce the price of the smartphone at the event, but online retailer Clove UK has started taking pre-orders for the smartphone and also announced that it will go on sale starting from August 25th in the UK. Information about the Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo (SM-G903F) surfaced last month. Now the smartphone has been listed on an online store (Via) in Netherlands. According to earlier info, the design and dimensions of the S5 Neo will be similar to the Galaxy S5, but this will be powered by a new 1.6GHz Exynos 7580 Octa-Core 64-bit processor with Mali-T720 GPU and has a 5MP front-facing camera, instead of a 2.1MP front-facing camera in the Galaxy S5. Celkon has launched the Millenia 2GB Xpress, the company’s latest budget smartphone in the Millenia series. It has a 4.5-inch WVGA IPS display, is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.4.2 (KitKat), which is upgradable to Android 5.0 (Lollipop). It has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. As the name indicates it has 2GB of RAM. It also has 16GB of internal storage with expansion slot.

Coolpad launched its Dazen 1 and Dazen X7 smartphones in India back in May. Now the company is gearing to launch its Note 3 smartphone in India. It was launched in China by QIKU, a joint venture by Coolpad group and QIHU 360 and received more than 2.6 million pre-orders in one week, said the company. Asus has announced Zenfone Selfie (ZD551KL), Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5 (ZE550KL), Zenfone 2 Laser 5.0 (ZE500KL) and Zenfone 2 Deluxe (ZE551ML) smartphones in India. These smartphones will launch at the ZenFestival 2015 in the country next week. Sony Corporation has reported its revenues for first quarter of the financial year 2015 that ended June 30, 2015. Sales remained flat at 1,808.1 billion yen ( US$ (14,820 million) with just 0.1% decease compared to the same quarter last year. Xiaomi has started rolling out global stable MIUI 6 update for the Redmi Note 3G smartphone. The Xiaomi Redmi 1S got the MIUI 6 update earlier this month. The company introduced MIUI 6, a major upgrade to MIUI ROM last year, but only few Mi devices run on the stable MIUI 6 ROM. The Redmi Note was launched in India back in July last year running on MIUI v5 based on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean).
