Micromax has launched Canvas tab P701, the company’s latest tablet with 4G connectivity and voice calling capabilities, few months after launching the Canvas Tab P702. It has a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) IPS display, is powered by a quad-core MediaTek processor, runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop), has a 5-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. OPPO F1 Plus FC Barcelona Edition announced
OPPO has introduced FC Barcelona edition of the F1 Plus Plus smartphone, few months after introducing the R7 Plus FC Barcelona Edition. It features a blue-and-red color scheme and an 18K gold-plated club insignia on the back of the smartphone It also has FC Barcelona-themed UI and an exclusive case sporting laser-printed signatures from Barcelona’s top players, namely: Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Neymar, Andres Iniesta and Ivan Rakitić. Xiaomi Mi 5 and Redmi Note 3 will go on open sale in India from June 1
Xiaomi launched the Mi 5 smartphone in India for Rs. 24,999 back in March, which went on sale through flash sale starting from April 6th. Today the company has announced that the phone will be available through open sale starting from June 1st starting from 10AM through the Mi India website. Both the variants of the Redmi Note 3 will also go on open sale in India through Amazon, Flipkart and Snapdeal at the same time. ARM Cortex-A73 10nm Processor and Mali-G71 GPU for flagship devices announced
ARM has announced Cortex-A73 processor based on 10nm FinFET process technology and Mali-G71 for flagship devices that will be released from 2017. The high-end Cortex-A73 is the company’s most efficient and highest performance applications processor that would offer 30% more performance than the Cortex-A72. Sony Xperia X and Xperia XA launched in India for Rs. 48990 and Rs. 20990
Sony has launched Xperia X and Xperia XA, the company’s latest smartphone in the new ‘X Series’ in India. Both these were announced at the MWC earlier this year. The Xperia X has a 5-inch 1080p screen, is powered by a Hexa-Core Snapdragon 650 SoC, has a fingerprint sensors on the power button and a 23-megapixel rear camera with Predictive Hybrid Autofocus that lets you choose your subject and then predicts its motion.

MediaTek Pump Express 3.0 fast-charging tech can charge phones from 0 to 70% in 20 minutes
MediaTek just introduced Pump Express 3.0, its fastest battery charging technology yet. This promises to charge smartphone battery from 0 to 70% in just 20 minutes and 5 minutes of charge promises four hours talk time. “That’s almost twice as fast as competing solutions currently on the market and five times faster than conventional charging,” said the company. Reliance Retail has launched Lyf Flame 4, the company’s latest 4G smartphone with VoLTE, few days after launching the Lyf Flame 3. It has a 4-inch WVGA screen, is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop), similar to the Lyf Flame 3, but this has a 2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front-facing camera.
